..we stepped out of her Lodge and I watched Eugene take her bag.. I smiled.. Okay I like him already..
I walked behind the as we made way to the taxi waiting in front of the house...we got to the car and he opened the back door for Vicky to enter.. She did... I walked towards the front seat but before I could reach for the handle Eugene had already done, he opened the door for me..
Immediately my heart skipped, my blood began to rush, my mind told me he was acting cause this niceness was scripted... I smiled and got in and soon we were wheeling to God knows where.... Sitting quietly at the front I could hear Vicky and Eugene chatting happily, I peeped at them from the front mirror and I just concluded in my mind that they were perfect for each other...
I picked up my phone and opened it to read the message Jasmine sent..
'Am sorry love.. ' the message began 'I know I hurt you so much, I swear, I don't know what to say because I don't deserve your forgiveness not even God's forgiveness, I swear, I know I'm the worse person, stupid and every bad and worse thing you can imagine to call me... All I want to say is that I'm so sorry and I'd like to see you if possible today at Mr Biggs restaurant at lane 12,please we need to talk, call me when you get this'
Immediately the car stopped, I looked up from my phone, we were in front of Mr Biggs restaurant,lane 12...
Before I could talk, Eugene had opened the door for himself and Vicky, I still sat in the car like I was expecting Eugene to open the door for me....He came close and was going to open the door when I opened it myself..
Immediately my mood changed....my mind told me something was about to or was already happening..
"This way Mr B" Eugene said as he and Vicky led the way into the eatery..
We got a table and sat while Eugene called to one of the waiters..
I took one of the menu from the table and began to check when someone walked up to me...
I looked up
It was Jasmine..!!!
