.."Jasmine also told me that she'd be going for a vigil or so that day "I continued.. "I was on my bed that evening, when Edward came home with the girl he was going to have fun with,.."
"Let me guess" Victoria cut in.. "Jasmine was the girl"
I nodded and sniffed, my nostrils were already watery...
"Wow wow wow wow" was all she could say
"I was shocked to see her and she too was shocked, I guess she didn't know Edward was my roommate because I have never brought her to my Lodge before...."
"What did she say when she saw you? " Victoria asked getting more interested..
"Well, we stared at each other in shock so hard and obvious that Edward hard to ask what was going on and if we knew each other"
"What did you say? " She asked curiously.
"I didn't say a word, I wanted her to tell him herself who I was to her because at that point I was confused... "
"And what did she say? "
"When Edward saw I wasn't gonna talk he asked her if she knew me from somewhere and she said yes, she said she only met me the day we came for registration where she borrowed my pen and never saw me again till that moment"...my voice broke
"Oh my God!!,are you serious? "
I nodded,
"And what did you say dad? " Victoria asked..
"I agreed to what she said... I played along so I could understand what was actually going on behind my back" I paused..
"Tell me she left immediately " Victoria asked
I scoffed,I dug my hand into the mud grabbing a fist full of sand as the images began coming again...
"I left the room to sit outside"I continued "I... I heard them talk, I heard Jasmine's voice sounding normal as if nothing was wrong.. I began to ask my self questions, I swear I was confused, I confess I never saw that coming... " I stopped to sniff again as I think rain dropped from my eyes, no I wasn't crying, no..
"The one person I first opened my heart to love, I remember I told her that she was the first and yet she just... "I didn't have the words to use..
More water fell..
