I froze..
"Why will you think of something like that? "I asked.
She tucked her arms in between her legs
"I have been having these scary dreams of recent ever since my dad died" she said..
"Really? "I asked
"Sorry I didn't tell you, I thought it'd pass but it didn't"she pouted..
"I'm not offended okay?,what have the dreams been about"
"I keep seeing you and I separated, trying fruitlessly to reach eachother but we keep failing.. "She said..
"If... " I wanted to talk but she cut in
"And I keep seeing my dad" she looked at me very terrified ..."And people crying, and blood everywhere "she began to cry
I pulled her closer and brought her head to my chest..
"I'm so scared Barney.. " she sobbed.
I slowly began tapping her head.
"Baby, "I called to her but she didn't respond...
"Will you like if something happened and we never get to see again? "I asked
She Shook her head..
"Good, would you like to travel home and have everything go fine and come back to Eugene waiting for you? "I asked again..
She nodded
I drove my hand gently into her hair..
"Then stop thinking of things you don't like so that they don't happen.. "I advised.
She rose her head to look into my eyes..
Her teary eyes glittered and could break even the heart of the devil to repentance..
"I really do love you Dad" she spoke,
I felt an uneasy feeling but I nodded it off in a fatherly way..
"Thanks babes.. Me too"I tried to deliver myself from temptation..
"So have you prepared for your trip tomorrow? "I asked..
"Yaaaeeeh" she tried to smile..
I kissed her head and stood up, she still sat, looking at me curiously..
"Where's my dad going " she asked
"We are going home" I answered "you need to rest for your journey"
'Orwwww, but I want to spend a little more time with you pops" she tried to convince me to stay a little..
"Na" i chuckled and pulled her up but she wouldn't wanna stand on her feet..
"I'm tired pops" she chuckled "can't walk"
"I'd carry you" I dared.
