I reluctantly walked with Edward into the canteen and we took seats..
"Wetin dey sup na?" He asked me
"Nothing jae" I tried to hide it
He stared with a disbelieving look on his face
I smiled and stood up and walked to the serving point...
One of the attendants waved at me.
" what can I serve you and your girl" she said..
"Well I'd .....wait! What gir...?" I turned to see Jasmine standing besides me smiling calmly and sheepishly..
I turned to the attendant "she's not with me" I said...
"Oh!,what will you like to have?"
"A plate of rice," I said getting disgusted..
"Meat or fish sir?"
"Meat and a bottle of coke"
"Eating here or take away?" The attendant asked..
I wanted to stay but seeing Jasmine here I....
"Take away" I said with a frown..
I watched the attendant pack the food and took it to the cashier..
"Two thousand two hundred" the cashier said..
I put my hand in my pocket to pay but Jasmine handed the bill to the cashier..
I looked at her in angry shock and irritated surprise..
The cashier took the money,tilled it and handed the food over and for a second I hesitated,
What was Jasmine up to this time?
I took the food and turned to look at her..
She looked away to where Edward was sitting and looked back but not directly at my face.
"What do you want?" I asked roughly..
"I told Edward about everything about us" she began..."I told him about everything that we were and how I hurt you by playing you"..
"Should I be excited?" I asked and began making my way to the door..
She hurried and caught up with me..
"We need to talk tho,please" she said hurriedly..
"Ain't we talking?" I asked sarcastically..
"I know you're hurt Barney but at least give me a chance to talk" she said slightly pulling my hand..
I'd  have hit her to get off me if not that she payed for the meal in my hand..
I stopped walking and sighed..
She signaled with her hand to a vacant table...
"Five minutes" I said
She excitedly walked to sit while I reluctantly did too..
