I got to the table before Jasmine, I sat, folded my hands across my chest...
Jasmine came, drew out her seat and sat.. I refused to look at her, I kept look at other things like the roof, the attendants, other customers,
I was expecting her to start talking but she wasn't, I knew she was staring at me but I didn't care..
"Barny," she called
"What? "I answered without looking still,
"Can you look at me? "
"I'm hearing you with my ears not eyes" I responded
Just then I turned to look at the table where Vicky and Eugene were seated, I saw Vicky still staring at me from distance in shock while Eugene was trying effortlessly to get her attention..
I did that mouth open tongue teeth lick thing, close my mouth and gnashed my teeth hard, fists folded in my bosom, I inhaled again..
I turned my eyes to face Jasmine, it was as if I was turning the world anti clockwise,so hard, ..
With all the control I could muster, I sat in front of Jasmine, looking at her now...
I saw her eyes filled with tears, her brows were bent in sorrow, her lips searching for the right words to express how sorry she was...
But I sat there staring at her coldly like I had done a surgery to take away my heart...
"I'm so sorry Barny" she began.. "I think you must hate me now? "
"Enh? "My eye brows rose, my eyes widened in shock, "don't think, start knowing "I said very coldly without human feeling..
I saw her swallow and try to hold back her tears by blinking fast..
I felt something..
(Aahhh, fuck you Barnabas!! Kill that feeling now!!!)  My mind kept yelling
"I swear I'm so sorry Barny" she continued,started rubbing her shoulders as if she was feeling cold.
My stone face began to crack,
"Talk"I said.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you about me and Edward, "she said
Immediately I got confused,
"Wait a minute, "I paused her "you want to apologize about not telling me that you and my roommate were in a relationship or that you betrayed our relationship?"
