I heard a loud sound.. Immediately I woke up.. I had fallen asleep and my head was still in the pillow..
"Drop your phone baba before I waste you" I heard a harsh voice say, immediately I turned to see my environment, it was dark but two figures were holding torchlights and I could see Edward kneeling with his hands up,..but where were the other guys that wanted to cr.... Immediately my eyes widened in shock in the dark.. We were being robbed by the two guys we accommodated!!!!
"You dey mad? I say free phone baba" one spoke, I couldn't see his face but he sounded like kunle..
"Guys abeg," Edward begged "you na don collect my laptop and wallet and my three atm, abeg leave my phone for m.. "
He was cut short with a heavy slap on his face from the second personality in the dark, must have been Michael.. I lay still on the bed using my hand to search around me to see of I could find something.. But what exactly?
But why would people we tried to help rob us..
I watched as Edward reluctantly yielded his phone with his hand on his face where he was struck..
"Next time you no go dey cap me" Kunle said..
Immediately my hand touched something strong near my pillow, like hammer.. Immediately I knew what it was, Edward always kept his hammer on my bed, I always queried him for it but tonight it was like a miracle..
I felt my blood begin to boil as I took hold of the tool turn weapon..
"Guys abeg, I fit comot my sim cards" Edward asked
Kunle rose his hand to slap him when my instincts took over,
I sprang from the bed in a flash and struck Michael hard on his left shoulder, he screamed in shock as Kunle sprang out of our apartment and took to his heels in the dark..
Michael fell to the ground, his body temporarily paralyzed by shock..
Immediately Edward stood up and began to rain blows on Michael.. I stood watching
"You don die o"Edward said as he stood and took the hammer from my hand and was gonna to smash Michael's head but I pushed him away
"Barny leave me!!"
