I tried walking faster trying to leave her behind but she too walked faster..
"youna dey mad" I heard Edward yell from behind "Na me youna wan come leave for house ba ?".
I sighed and stopped walking.
I heard Edward lock the room door and began walking towards us.
"Reject the dream" Jasmine said to me.
I didn't look at her but began to wonder why the sudden nice act..
"Make we dey go"Edward said as soon as he caught up with us.
We began to go, Edward and Jasmine held hands walking while I was leading the way with fear in my heart and a prayer in my mind that this wasn't going to end up like my dream.
Some minutes later we were almost at the park..
I could hear a siren rolling in the distance.
I began to run towards the park..
"Barnes! "I heard Edward call me to wait for them but I couldn't..
I ran till I got to the park, I walked in....
I saw an ambulance blowing a siren and some a little crowd..
I froze in horror, walking slowly towards where the crowd was and saw injured people being brought out of the ambulance..
I recognized one of them who was lying "unconscious ",the ambulance driver said pointing to her. She was one of the passengers in the bus Vikky followed.
My legs began to shake in fear.. I didn't see Vikky and the passengers weren't complete.
I walked to one of the bus pack assistant and asked what happened..
"Accident"He spoke slowly
"what of the other passengers.. Them no complete na" I asked
"The remaining ones no survive,them don carry them go mortuary" he replied.
This was it.. My eyes wide in shock...
No the dream was better than the reality I confessed to myself.
"you mean all of them? "I asked trying to get the fact.
"All these ones way dey here na the ones wey survive, the rest.... " he demonstrated with his hand across his neck to mean die.
Just then Edward and Jasmine got to me.
I saw shock on their faces..
I walked away not wanting to be asked any question..
Edward went to examine the scene while Jasmine followed me.
