.."As soon as I woke up all I wanted to do was call you but my screen was broken and wasn't responding" she said.. " I saw your calls but couldn't pick too.. "
"I've got to tell Eugene all that happened" I said.."he must be worried when he couldn't reach you"
"That's what he told you? That he couldn't reach me? " Vikky asked
"No, haven't seen him since that night I left you guys at your place.. " I said.
"I guess he would na"i added
"Dude didn't call "she scoffed "Prolly he still mad that I didn't agree to sleep with him"
"Na, don't think that way,maybe something happened you know? " I tried to convince her..
"Naaa..that's the reason Dad.. Trust me" she said.. "And right now all I want is this moment of us" she said.
"Okay? "
We got to my lodge.
I went to get warm water ready for her to bath with as she narrated to Edward and Jasmine how the incident happened..
Water got ready and I came to call her to bath..
"We'd go to the hospital tomorrow " I said.
They all turned at me with a "for what" look on their faces
"To check her in case of any internal injuries.. " I said
"Oshey!!!!! Guardian and counselor, Lord and Personal shepherd" Edward teased as we all laughed...
"No for reals guys" I said embarrassed.
"I'm fine really dad but we will go Kay? "Vikky said walking to me.
I escorted her to the bathroom and she went in.
I stood at the door as I heard her take off her clothes and heard the water begin to hit the floor..
I looked up at the ceiling more than grateful to God.
"Still there? " She asked.
"Yeah " I said
"Please stay"
"Sure" I blushed...
Aside the fact that I like when begged to hang around someone I was enjoying the feeling of being seen as her guardian.
She opened the door gently and came out tying my towel...
The water in her afro and her wet brown skin and innocent scared eyes did more than just turn me on..
"Just say it dad" she said staring into my eyes..
"You're beautiful babes" I laughed
She smiled knowing that wasn't what I wanted to say..
"But do you feel any pain any where? " I asked her smiling.
"yeah.. "She nodded
I became serious.."Where? "
"Here" she said touching the lower part of her waist with her hand as she itched her face..
I bent to feel it with my hand.
"here? " I asked slightly pressing the area to know if there was any broken bone..
"No.. "she replied and kissed my cheek that was already close to her face.."There.. "
I stood back straight.. Blushing but surprised..
I tried to act strict.. "That is? "
"That's how short girls kiss their tall boyfriends" she smiled widely showing almost all her teeth..
I laughed...
"I'm not your boyfriend na" I said...
She just smiled and rose her eye brows and shook her head.
"But for reals..." I asked.
"Just head ache" she said.."wanna sleep"
"Okay, I'd get your paracetamol and prepare your bed, just clean up here and get dressed" I said handing her one of my over sized jersey.
She smiled the more at the sight of it.
"I am keeping this" she said smiling.
"Let me think about it" I replied as I left and entered the main room and saw Edward and Jasmine already asleep on his bed.
I made mine, cleared the unfinished food into the bin and went for the drug..
"Hey"Vikky wispered from behind me.."I'd take the drug when I wake up" I turned to see her... She was more than beautiful as if the Jersey was made on her body..
"em... Okay " I replied completely knocked off my senses.. Like I had sense.
I signaled to her to climb the bed and she did..
I went to get a chair like the good well brought up boy I was..
"Good night" I told her
"Seriously?" she smirked.."I'm not sleeping alone" she said.."And am not sleeping with the lights on"
Okay, that's what I wanted to hear..
I went to switch of the light and joined her on the bed with a reasonable space between us..
"I guess we're are fighting" she whispered
"why? "I asked.
"You tell me why the space.."she said.
"Just tell me you want cuddle ah"
