"My dad bought it when he came here last"she spoke with deprecating tone..
"Hey!"i called her back from the journey of sadness she was about to start "It's beautiful"
"You know,it explains you" she said
"Me?, how? " I asked.
"That'd be a story for another day baby, "she tossed the teddy at me.. "Now go to bed, I'd join when am done writing"
"I don't wanna dream bad dreams o" I said giving the teddy a spiritual conscious look..
"Now I know where I got my crazy from "she said laughing as she walked back to the desk.. "Goodnight baby" she said as she sat..
"Goodnight, "I responded..
I watched her from the dark as she began scribbling on her dairy with smiles on her face
"I love you baby" she said
I refused to answer..
"I love you baby.. "She said again, "I know you ain't sleeping even tho I can't see your face" she said..
Still I kept quite..
"And em, "she continued "that teddy cries at night, just so you know"
"What the f...!! " I yelled as I jumped from the bed..
She bursted out laughing.. "Just kidding dad..,am sorry"she said looking at me in the dark trying to see me..
I laughed
"Go to bed now baby... But you have to say that back" she said as I climbed the bed..
"Okay.. Go to bed now baby" I said
"No! " she giggled.. "The I love you part"
I sighed,
"I love you too Vicky"I said
"Awwwww" she blushed, I watched her smile before turning to face her dairy....
The fan blew, her hair was being moved slightly like they were swimming as her pen danced on the floor of the book..
"I love you" I whispered to myself..."
My eyes became heavy...
If I could build up pillars to hold them up so as to keep staring at my beautiful baby, I would...
For once, I felt like everything was perfect..
Just then my phone buzzed from where I kept it besides my pillow
