I walked towards my lodge in a very absent minded manner hoping to wake up from what ever dream I must have been in, passing everyone and everything as if they weren't there..
As I drew closer to my lodge I noticed that the lights in my lodge were On, Edward must have returned home.
I opened the door slowly and walked Inside, I didn't see any sign of Edward but I saw his foot ware and that of Jasmine.
I didn't go to look at what the two may be up to or tell them that I was home instead I went straight to my bed and laid on it, exhausted from the long walk I had given myself..
Wait, I paused as I looked around the room again while laying slowly on the bed, So I slept over at Vicky's house?
Of course I did,
But coming into my lodge, it looked as if it was still yesterday.
I didn't know what was happening to me but I noticed that a lot of weird thoughts and images were rushing into my memory messing with the reality I was in..
I lay on the bed and stared at the ceiling gradually trying to replay the scene I had just been in a while ago at Vicky's house..
For a moment after the Eugene saga and our make out session I was beginning to feel that was the happy ending until my mind did what it has always done, predict and ruin the perfect moment.
Yeah, I kinda had the gift to guess or feel something coming but to me at this moment, it looked like a curse.
Why would I be able to predict something bad coming and not have the power to change it..?
That's more painful than not even knowing some thing's about to hit you.
I paused talking to myself, oh I was? I noticed that since I came to my lodge I had been talking to myself within and also I noticed I was tossing and turning on the bed...
I was going to have a mental breakdown, I knew it.
I found myself falling asleep, It was still very at the early hours of the morning and I was feeling sleepy but I didn't care, I just wanted to escape this confused feeling I was having.
As my eyes closed I heard Edward and Jasmine approaching from the inner part of the lodge..
"So I was even going to..... Jesus!!" Edward was talking and then screamed in shock to see someone, me, laying on my bed.
"Is that not..?" Jasmine asked not completing her question.
"Barney, you dey okay?" I heard Edward ask as he approached to check on me..
I didn't answer or open my already closed eyes, instead I rose my hand and gave him a thumb up and waved my hand to mean that I was okay and didn't want to be disturbed..
There was silence, I guess the two must have looked at themselves and wondered my new behavior.
"So as you were going where?" Jasmine asked Edward and he continued what ever story he was telling her.
Although hearing them, my mind wasn't processing anything they said,
I was being deafened by the voice in my own head..
I fell asleep.
