"Vicky?" I called her name, she looked up into my eyes in a way that didn't spell innocence
"Yeah baby" she responded in way that sent chills down my spine..
She was already too close, she started rubbing her hands at the back of my elbow upwards..
"What preparations have started? " I asked tryna get out of the uncomfortable atmosphere she was creating..
"What preparations? "She asked
"Your dad...."
"Oh, well, I'd be travelling next week Tuesday for the burial and would come on Sunday "she said beginning to wrap her hands around herself as if she was feeling cold..
"I wasn't feeling this loneliness till you reminded me" she said walking towards a door that led to what looked like her bedroom,
I rushed and stopped her before she walked in.. Standing in front of her..
"I know am acting all crazy and making you feel insecure but I can't help it"she said looking at the ground "I feel so broken right now, "she said and sniffed
I pulled her into a hug.. "I know, "I said but deep down I didn't know nothing..
After five minutes of solemn embrace I was gonna say something when she broke from the hug..
"You can't trick me baby! "She giggled, "you're having your bath tonight, infact right now"
She pulled me into to her bathroom, opened the door and showed me everything I needed..
"If you know it'd not be easy for you, tell me to bath you, I'd close my eyes"she said laughing..
"Nonsense geh"I said as I walked into the bathroom, locked the door behind me and sat on the floor...
My eyes scanning the whole room, it was beautiful although it was a bathroom, it looked better than my lodge's sitting room..
Everything sparkled as if she had prepared it for this moment..,
(What if she did prepare it for you) my mind began.. I Shook it off and rose to my feet and stared at the mirror at the side of the wall...
Just then I heard her from outside "if in the next five minutes I don't hear splashing of water from your bathing, I'd open the door and come in".
