Edward struggled with me as I tried to prevent him from going to kill the half dead Michael..
"Guy leave me na, I go wound you o.. "Edward warned..
"You dey craze? "I tried to speak some sense into his head.. "You wan kill person pikin? "
"Person wey been wan kill me now now because I just cap am small" he protested...."see how dem Dey beat me for here and now the other one don carry my phone and lappi and wallet wey get three atm run commot.. "He almost started crying..
"Calm down" I said..
Just then, Michael spoke faintly,.."leave am make e com kill me, e fada go hear am! "
"I swear I go kill this bastard" Kunle flared and broke from my restraints and sprang towards Michael with death in his eyes but I pulled him by his shirt and hit him at the back of his head knocking him unconscious..
I lay his unconscious body on the floor gently....
"The guy na bastard,"Michael spoke..
I turned to look at him but before I spoke he tried to stand up..
I watched him get up,his hand on the shoulder I struck, I could swear a bone or two must have been broken.
"Why you no just kill me? " Michael asked in pains.. Seriously???
"E be like say you no dey think of your parent, after all dem don suffer for you till this age.. " I spoke in disgust..
He sighed and looked away from my gaze..
I watched him gnash his teeth, my eyes scanned his body and I concluded that he was a cultist..
"Thanks, I owe you one" he spoke in English..
"No owe me anything "I wasn't gonna accept any favours from a cultist.. "Just return Edward phone and lappi and atm with e wallet" is said..
He looked down at Edward's unconscious body in hatred and disgust for like three straight minutes.. Then he inhaled deeply and looked me in the eyes...
"Na because of you o"he said.. "If not this bastard needs learn e lesson "
He turned and went out through the door, I went and shut the door after him..,i sat in the dark hearing Edward breathing..
Immediately I remembered my phone and wallet...
