"Would" i bent down to her feet
"Hahaha won't dad" she tried to run but i grabbed her and lifted her up in one move to my shoulders..
She chuckled very embarrassed.. Then I let her down..
"Let's go darl" I said leading the way.
As I began walking towards the exist of the library, I noticed I didn't hear her footsteps behind me..
I turned back and she was still standing where we sat, staring at me...
Immediately our eyes met she looked away...
I sighed... I knew she still had a lot on her mind..
"If I get to the door before you, I'm going to spank ur bum" i warned trying to lighten her mood
Immediately she looked at me in surprise "for reals dad? "
I didn't answer but started making a fake run towards the exist..
I looked over my shoulder as I heard her running to catch up with me..
She came and held my hand in between hers like a six year old..
We laughed and walked out of the library..
I stopped at the front of the yard..
"Why are you stopping dad? " she asked
"It's late, let me catch a bike for you to g... "
"Na..my Lodge isn't far from here,let's walk it then you'd take a bike to your Lodge.. " she pouted.. "I wanna spend at least a tinywinny time with you pops"
I sighed and began to lead the way..
"Give me a piggy ride dad" she begged
"But I'm not a pig na" I laughed "and besides I'd have to go on all four.
"Just carry me on your back Wole Soyinka" she laughed...
I Bent down and she climbed and I continued walking..
She began to roll her hands in my hair as we silently went..
"But you'd still spank my bum right dad? " she asked bursting out laughing..
"Come down from my back "I stopped "corrupt chide" i laughed..
"Like father like daughter dad" .
I resumed walking as we kept laughing at each other..
We began getting close to her Lodge, just then I saw someone standing in front of her Lodge....
"Isn't that Eugene?" She asked me..
It was Eugene but what was he...
"What's he doing here by this time? "She whispered to my ears..
