..it was dark, very dark, but i began to hear tiny whispering voices around me and the smell of iodine..
The iodine smell became stronger just then I felt a cold soft Sting on the back of my right hand.. I opened my eyes!!
I was on a bed.. I saw a lady smiling at me in white.. Was she an angel? Was I dead?. Just then I saw her hand go to where I first felt the Sting and I felt it again..
No she was a nurse!!
I jerked at the pain as I tried to move my hand away from her but I couldn't, I rose my head to look at what ever was holding my hand.. I saw that both of them, right and left were tied to the bed and the left one was bandaged
"Seriously!!! "I yelled
"Relax young man"a voice from behind me spoke, I turned immediately to see one of the school's guard standing behind me..
I fell back to the bed trying to understand how and why and when...
Just then the door flung open and Edward stormed in..
"Barny!!! "He said with eyes open wide in horror at my sorry state..
"Stay back hey! "The guard warned him as he made his way to me..
"He's my friend and I've spoken to the VC, "Edward said
Just then another man came from behind Edward, he looked familiar but u wasn't ready to go back to try and remember who he was..
I saw the guard salute him as both he and the guard went outside..
"Guy you Dey alright? "Edward came to my bed side... I just stared at him not knowing what to do or think..
"He's not"the nurse said "he has some broken bones in his hands and some serious bruises and has lost lot of blood.. "
Edward looked back at me.. "Wetin happen? " I myself didn't know but I was staring at the cause....
Just then I saw from behind him, someone coming in with careful movement, it was Vickky,.. Immediately she saw me she broke down in tears covering her mouth with her hand avoiding to cry out
I lost something that moment more than blood, seeing my flower drip tears
I began to hate myself for whatever had happened
"Daddy? "She mumbled between tears..
