I think you might ask the question, "Why is this lonely degenerate not posting anything for the past days?" Well, I'm kinda busy with something―visualizing another novel, that is.
However, the real reason for my seemingly busy schedule is a game called 'Rebel Inc.'
Brought to both iPhone and Android mobile platforms by Ndemic Creations―the very same group that brought 'Plague Inc.' to fruition―'Rebel Inc.' offers a realistic (and often sordid) insight on the process of peace-keeping, geopolitics, economy, and the ever-present threat of terrorist insurgency. Players take on the role of a "governor", assigned by the peace-keeping coalition force, each with a unique characteristic that may (or may not) help with stabilizing a recently war-torn "region". As complex and head-spinning the game is due to its seemingly complicated mechanic of finding the right balance between keeping the insurgency at bay and helping the people stand on their own feet once again, 'Rebel Inc.' is a satisfying experience on par with its predecessor, 'Plague Inc.'
PS: this is not a paid review; what you've read is a sort of thank-you to the creators of Plague Inc.
