Ooh, man. I'm feeling kinda embarassed, even as of writing this piece. I mean―never in my life have I thought that someone would take my ramblings seriously. Also, I never thought that my overall opinions in life are actually of the "red pill" kind. (It does make sense, though, for the most part.) Then again, we are living in an age of "information" readily available on the "Internet"―which, for most Filipinos who own a smartphone or two, is Zuccfeed―so overwhelming, it led to a point where people, not just the Filipino people, have become "willfully ignorant" of any information presented by learned individuals on the subconscious level―especially when it does not fit the common person's interests.

What's worse is that the Filipino people, as a whole, have become so content with what they see, hear, and know―and who they follow―that for them, people of differing opinions―especially dissidents―are the enemy trying to destroy the status quo. They will try to silence the opposition using whatever method available; and with the the help of those who speak their language, in the same echo chambers they dwell in, they will succeed―if not, they'll stoop even lower, just to discredit said enemy. In short, Filipinos only see two colors: black and white―or in this case, yellow and red (and it's not the communist kind of red). For them, "neutrality" is a concept as alien as "divorce", "gender identity", "sexual orientation", "thriller novels", and "Japanese animé". This may come off as bitter on my part, but it's a sad truth of the Filipino society.

Oh, and one more thing: this page, together with my Twitter account, is supposed to serve the purpose of promoting my first two Filipino-language novels on Wattpad, and my succeeding novel projects, but . . . well, I could only sigh in dismay over my moribund writing "career" at this point.
