Hmm. Am I that much of a "weeb", MIDNIGHTGODDESS actually noticed that I have not referred to animé on one of our sporadic conversations? I'm not saying it's a bad thing she noticed that change; I do find it weird that someone would point out my "surprising" absence of direct references to animé. And right now, I'm having a funny feeling in my body; it felt like that came out of left field.
Some background: I'm just a twenty-something "weeb" managing a dime-a-dozen Zuccfeed page that's mostly "catering" to weebs―as opposed to its original purpose of promoting the novels I've written and published on Wattpad, as well as my supposed novel projects in progress―who only has two years of college in a subject I have no passion whatsoever, has no real "job" to speak of, and is a walking red flag due to certain . . . proclivities that most normal people would find unspeakable. MIDNIGHTGODDESS, on the other hand, is a successful Wattpad writer―who has two novels published locally―is a degree-holder who graduated from a prestigious university in the Metro, has a real job―aside from her career as a writer―and is a respected person, overall. With that, I know you're imagining the stark contrast in our lives; and I know you're asking to yourself, "what does it have to do with your earlier statement?" Well, I think that person, who's following this page recently, has a point: not many people would take me seriously on the basis of my background as a "weeb", especially on serious, hot-button topics that plagues the Filipino society. However, my educational background, and my current status in life, is not―and should not be―a deterrent for healthy discourse when it comes to such issues. I'm not directly referring that to MIDNIGHTGODDESS―rather I am referring it to the future followers of this page. After all, I am "aware" of the latest happenings all over the world, which is one of the "requirements" for writing thriller fact-ion.
