When a person actually mistakes me for a woman―or a "stereotypically" fat and/or bulky "tomboy"―with my shoulder-length hair, maybe it's high time I go to the barber to trim it down―or worse, cut it short once again.

In other news, I actually revisited all articles I wrote back in 2017 (each were part of 'Sitrep', which I have since deleted on Wattpad) a few hours ago. And I've got to say, it did elicit bouts of mild laughter from me. I mean―most articles from that year were so vitriolic, and filled with unnecessary details, I have no idea what the fuck was I thinking at the time; especially one article―a precursor to all animé reviews I now post on the page―that had 'Nisekoi' as its subject matter. I was asking myself, "Why have I written this?" Then I remembered: I've written those articles because I was, a year after I've uploaded my first story, so frustrated that my stories on Wattpad were―and still are, to this day―ignored by the Filipino readership, as evident of its dismal statistics. (You can look it up on the Wattpad profile I've provided on the pinned post to confirm.) Now that I am a broken-down "man" who "believes strongly on slice-of-life animé"―a "shadow" of my former self, so to speak―I could care less about the overall statistics of my first two stories, because I have learned since how shallow, superficial, and unimaginative the Filipino Wattpad "readership" is―what with the recurring theme for all the stories they read being the same shit all over again, and written by the same usernames that had established themselves on the site a long time ago.

That got me thinking: maybe I can add those articles, plus a "select number" of articles I wrote last year―I'm not sure how many of the articles I've written in 2018 were completed―refine each article to match my current standards, and add it as another "part" to my upcoming non-fiction novel slated for the coming Christmas season. That might work―but I should expect a lot of angry Neanderthals.
