After a long, silent pilgrim to my own path of destruction, I am now officially dropping 'Oni Chichi', which ended up as a total disappointment.

The aforementioned series did not live up to its hype that was spread among hentai viewers―at least for me. For all talk of the "best girl" chosen by the majority, I was not at all engaged with Airi's character; she's like a two-bit whore with a predictable cycle consisting of three phases: 1) detesting her adoptive father, 2) getting fucked by said adoptive father, and, 3) detesting her adoptive father for actually "doing" her as he pleased. And while I can perfectly understand the reason for Airi's seemingly-undying hatred towards her adoptive father, whom she calls a "slug worm", her false sense of pride is what ultimately gets her into inescapable predicament after inescapable predicament in the first place. Marina is a much more dynamic character than Airi in terms of character progression; she slowly turned into a possessive "yandere" over the course of the original series―not to mention, her violent first encounter with the beast of a man only known as Kouzou, which―I freely admit as a degenerate―was much more to my liking.

On the other hand, 'Oni Chichi 2' felt . . . kinda stupid and lame, with characters whose names are easily forgotten, like a Javelin missile―fire-and-forget. The only thing running inside my head, as I finished the relatively short series, was, "Why have they bothered producing this crap, anyways?" They have wasted a "repulsive" plot with all the background drama one can witness in a low-quality, "basic" Filipino telenovela.

'Free Friends 2', with a somewhat "butchered" plot in its animated adaptation, was a better-written incest-themed hentai than the 'Oni Chichi' series, overall.

I want my anthrax letter―pronto.
