Number one rule of being a 'shadow': "It sucks."

Being a 'shadow'―in a perpetual war against my own weak-willed, degenerate self―sucks. Attending that book-signing event a few months back was the only time I felt "alive" and somewhat "free" of all my worries . . .

Maybe the lunatic asylum is the better choice for me, after all?

Number two rule of being a 'shadow': "You're more prone to getting 'cancelled'."

Degeneracy is uncontrollable; your dark thoughts are of the nastiest order imaginable. And your reason will slowly erode as time flows by. By understanding the context of this meme, I am actually getting more violently aroused with the dark thoughts running inside my head.Once you've tread down the dark path, there's no escape.

Last, but not the least: being a 'shadow' is "just lonely, overall."

And since I'm going stony-broke, my plans of attending this year's MIBF, and the Foundation Anniversary at PUP (for research!), goes up in smoke.
