I've just had my first experience with 'Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands', and I was like―"Whoa. Now I know why 'Triple-A' games like these have a large file size, and only works on high-end rigs."

Graphics are awesome, even if players are only playing it in third-person for the most part―with the exception of aiming down the motherfuckin' sights. Also, the game has the whole of Bolivia as its sandbox for players to experience; one can travel the whole country without actually going there. (Having the authentic Bolivian experience yourself is much better, in my opinion.) Controls-wise, it is great, especially on aircraft handling; not so much for land vehicles; and somewhere in the middle are the fast river boats. Then again, that's just me. Other mechanics, such as weather, day/night cycle and ecosystem fits well in the game.

The downside of playing 'Ghost Recon: Wildlands' is the open-world setting. Players will literally cover kilometres upon kilometres of road just to get a singular objective―with the exception of a quick-travel option for rebel strongholds, which is . . . well, just out there in the fucking sticks. Eventually, the long-distance travel will bore the living shit out of players―especially the impatient ones; even the roving patrols of military forces and cartel checkpoints will have a hard time keeping the player's attention focused to the game for as long as possible.

All in all, 'Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands' is a game for those who are used to reading long-ass stories from Robert Ludlum, Frederick Forsyth, Leon Uris, Ken Follett (the two-part medieval Britain novel series), and even Tom Clancy himself.
