So, about 177013 . . . it seems there have emerged unverified sources saying, " 'Emergence' was just a doujin revolving on a JAV-driven plot, and the featured story was not truly canonical." Memes aside, there are people who, for the longest time, wanted the main character to have a happy ending. And with the release of new content―unconfirmed as of yet―related to the one of the greatest "shit-storms" in the history of doujinshi, there is a reason for people to rejoice . . . or is it?
I, for one, am not happy with the latest development.
You see―'Emergence' is not just your run-off-the-mill hentai doujin about sex and all kinks associated with it. 'Emergence', or known by its "nuclear code" 177013, is a realistic portrayal of a brutal society, in which the weak will be taken advantage of, which in turn will make them succumb to the darkness once they're in deep enough. It is a cautionary tale, where a single fuck-up will eventually lead to one's early demise. And in a society that's becoming dangerously unstable with each passing day, one should learn to make a choice in every situation, stand by on those choices, and face the consequences head-on. ShindoL, however, has "grown tired" of the rather extensive coverage 'Emergence' has received over time, and decided to submit to the will of the spineless masses; either that, or he released an alternate ending to one of his masterpieces just to fuck around with the minds of sheeple, no one knows―yet.
Unless he makes a clear-cut explanation―or a convenient excuse―as to his current actions, ShindoL will be remembered by the few who found the genius behind 'Emergence' as a shill whose name should not be mentioned in the years to come. It seems that he is not as "radical" as everyone once thought him to be.
