The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

SUBJECT: Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai

THE GOOD: A rom-com show that became one of the most talked-about seasonal animé. For this fledgling Internet 'mercenary', each episode was a satisfying 'experience'.

THE BAD: As far as this fledgling Internet 'mercenary' knows, there are no announcements for the show's second season. Maybe the producers have only a few of its source material left, as the original mānga is still ongoing. Also, there are no definitive numbers for the ongoing sale of the show's BD version.

THE UGLY: Fujiwara Chika was effectively stripped away of her personality as a character, when the "Chikatto Chika Chikatsu" meme blew way out of proportion during the show's airing. Animé fans have only recognized "Fujiwara Chika the meme" more than "Fujiwara Chika the character".
