ITT: Animé movies/series/etc that you didn't like but everyone seems to adore for some reason.(I'm going to give a somewhat "neutral" recollection of my painful experiences of watching this animé series―Part Two.)

'Go-toubun no Hanayome'

Oh, boy. When I thought 'Nisekoi' was the most painful experience for me, this really made me think of violent thoughts. And when I say "violent thoughts", I mean the end result will look like a gruesome dismemberment video one would see on the now-extinct r/watchpeopledie subreddit. (You guys have witnessed my socmed outburst.) Overly hyped, thanks to those who have not learned their lesson after the disastrous train-wreck that was 'Nisekoi', 'Go-toubun no Hanayome' is just like a downgraded carbon copy of the aforementioned mānga and animé series―only made worse by the existence of five girls that are "allegedly" quintuplets, with the main character choosing "The One" in the end (or not at all). If I may ask, "How, in the deepest pits of the coldest hell, are they actually related to each other?" The way the quintuplets are portrayed, they looked more like "acquainted strangers" than "blood-related siblings". And once the element of "romance" came into play, well . . . let's just say that all bets are totally off.

Now, for the experience: after two episodes, this hapless viewer, who dived down that particular rabbit hole―(Coyote Peterson voice:) FOR SCIENCE!―almost ended up planning a trip to the local mosque, in search of a radical imam who can recommend me to a commander of the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham. It's like every romantic cliché imaginable had a feast and got so drunk they decided to make a mess of the place.

What's making 'Go-toubun no Hanayome' worse than it was, when I "attempted" to watch it, are the recent updates: it seems that the rainbow, after the cliché storm, will not lead you to that pot of gold at the end of it. Easily the WORST Ponzi scheme in the history of mānga and animé.
