Kaitlyns pov

"What's up Couns?"

"Let's walk." He offers me his arm and I take it. "How have you been?"

"Good." I lied. "It's been nice to see some of the guys again. I've missed them all."

"You crashed with Cody and Corey right? After everything went down?"

"What?"

"With you know."

"Counsell,"

"Lets go in Docs office first."

He opens the door and we walk in.

"I don't know what you're talking about,"

"Kaitlyn,"

I sigh and drop my head in my hands.

"I know you probably didn't want to talk about this today, but we have to before we get back."

"I don't know what happened Couns. I really don't. It's like he just, he just gave up." He hands me a Kleenex.

"I woke up and saw the articles. I felt so bad for you and I just wanted to come hug you."

"Well I think I can safely say my Dodger boys gave me plenty from them and you."

"Well good. I'm still going to give you one," and he does, "so they obviously want to kill him."

"I had to talk Cody down the most I think. He's practically my big brother."

"Well if he wasn't the back to back MVP and best player on the team he'd be on the ten day IL with back soreness."

"Oh my god."

"Well? He knows about your past, that was low of him. I never saw him as a guy to do that to someone. I don't know what he was thinking."

"I don't either." The door opened and in walked Doc.

"Well what a pleasant surprise! Kaitlyn dear how are you! Counsell always a pleasure."

"Hey Doc! I'm good." He closes his door and sits down.

"Really? Because yesterday it didn't seem like it since you were crying here in my office with all your guys. I know he's your guy Counsell but he's an asshole."

"How do you know? How'd you know we were even together?"

"Because it's what all the guys talked about in the clubhouse before games when the media wasn't around. I saw the articles, he's an ass. And now your little posse forms around you when he's around so they protect you. I also know you've been staying with Cody and Corey now because of it. If something happens with them you can come stay with us, we'd love to have you over. I know you probably have backup plans up the wall with the other guys but our door is always open."

"Wow okay that's a lot holy shit. Um well thank you first of all, and yes I have like plan g now so thank you. That's weird that everyone here talked about us. I didn't know that. And yes I've been staying with Cody and Corey."

"Yeah a certain someone always talked about it. He always talks about you."

I drop my head a little.

"Yeah, I know he does."

"Who?" Couns asks.

"Oh, wait does he not know?" Doc asks.

"No I don't think so."

"What?"

"So before Christian and I were a thing, and way back when I worked with the Dodgers um Corey and I were kind of a thing."
