~*authors note* Hi y'all! I just wanted to thank you so much for reading my story! It really does mean a lot. I also just wanted to warn you that this chapter touches on sexual assault. It's nothing graphic, but I wanted to give a warning as the chapter is mostly about it. You can absolutely skip over this chapter if you need to, you won't miss anything other than Kaitlyn talking to Cam and Collin about what happened in the past and Christian and Kaitlyn having a discussion about it. If you've ever been a victim of sexual assault, I hear you, I believe you, and I love you. You aren't alone. Stay strong. 💙~
*a week later*
Christians povI walked into the tiny side office where Kaitlyn had been most of the day. Transferring teams actually required a lot of work for her. I sat on the couch behind her.
"I think I'm actually almost done this time." She said.
"No worries babe do what you gotta do."
"What do you wanna do tonight?"
"I'm not sure but Collin and Cam did text me and asked if we wanted to hang with them tonight. They're going out to a bar and I said I'd ask you. I'm fine doing whatever."
"We could go out for a little bit that would be fun. Besides I like your brothers."
"Well they like you too. And I'll let them know."
"Okay babe."
I sat there and watched her work. It was actually very interesting watching her. Normally she's the one watching me, us, do our job so it was cool watching her. All the papers she had spread everywhere and different electronics with a thousand different tabs up and videos. She worked her ass off and I knew that, but seeing her do it was so, eye opening. She closed her laptop and turned around as she stretched.
"All done. I gotta change from my sweats and then we can go."
"I love you." She started blushing.
"I love you too."

"Sup bros?" Kaitlyn said hooking her arms around both of them when we walked in.
"Sup sista." Cam said.
"Nothin much. How you guys?"
"Good."
They both moved down one so we could sit between them. As we sat there I watched them all pick on each other, and me, and goof around. I never really noticed how much the three of them got along so well. She really was like their sister. It made me happy.
"You're so annoying." Kaitlyn said as she lightly shoved Cam.
"Yeah well so are you."
"Hey gorgeous." Some guy said walking up to Kaitlyn. She froze and I think she stopped breathing. "Why the scared look huh?" He tucked her hair behind her ear and ran it down her back. I've never seen Cam get so mad so fast as he pinned his arm behind his back.
"YOU GOT TWO SECONDS TO GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE BEFORE I SNAP YOUR ARM IN HALF. GO!" He shoved him out the door. I looked at Kaitlyn and she sat there staring off into space, shaking, breathing heavy, with tears streaming down her face.
"Hey," I went to grab her hand and she flinched away. "I'm not gonna hurt you, it's Christian it's okay." She looked me in the eyes with a look I'd never seen from her in my life. "You wanna go home?" She nodded her head. "Is it okay if I take your hand?"
"Yeah."
"Okay, c'mon I got you." We stood and I took her hand. "We'll see you guys later." Just as we got to the car she started sobbing. I took her in my arms and carefully rubbed her back. "You're okay now I promise. It's okay I got you now. You're okay you're safe I got you." She kept burying her face more and more into me as she calmed down.
