*two weeks later*
Kaitlyns povI was excited for today's game. One, it was a day game so we had more time after it ended. Two, because after it I was driving to the house tonight since we had an off day tomorrow. I was really missing Christian this week so I figured why not drive up. Tomorrow was also an off day for the Brewers so it worked out perfectly. We could be together but apart all day.
"KAITLLLLYYYYYNNNN!"
"Oh god what now Cody." He laughed as he sat down.
"Nothing. Doing anything tomorrow?"
"Yeah tonight after the game I'm driving up to Malibu and spending the night at the house. A little getaway I guess."
"You miss him?"
"Yeah. A lot." So much to the point I wanna take a sick day and go see him.
"That's understandable."
"Yeah." I went back to work and he started sighing very loudly. "OH MY GOD CODY WHAT?" He laughed.
"I just wanted to annoy you."
"AND SO DID WE!" Walker, Will and Gavin said jumping in the doorway.
"Oh god it's a powwow in here now."
"Yes it is!" Gavin said.
I put my focus back to work while they sat there. It wasn't easy because they kept giggling.
"What are you girls giggling about?"
"Your forehead keeps wiggling while you work, it's funny." Will said.
"You guys are CHILDREN."
"Yes we are." Walker said.
"Yeah but we love you." Cody said.
"You're lucky I love you too."
"Woah it's a party in here." Some man said walking in.
"Yeah and you aren't invited."
"CODY!" I yelled.
"WHAT I DON'T KNOW HIM!"
"SO?"
"Uh and who is she?" The man said.
"WHO IS SHE? I'LL TELL YOU,"
"CODY BE NICE."
"CODY BE NICE? NO IT'S YOU WHO DOESN'T KNOW YOU?" I threw a ball at him. "I'm an outfielder try again." He threw it to Will.
"AND I'M A CATCHER YOU TRY AGAIN!" Will said, catching the ball. I shook my head.
"Children settle down, PLEASE. Sorry about that, uh can I ask who you are?" Looking to the man.
"It's fine, and yeah, I'm Erik."
"OH ERIK! HI! Sorry they only told me your name."
"No all good. So, who are you?" I got up to shake his hand.
"I'm Kaitlyn, I'm the Dodgers on field reporter."
"Oh you're Kaitlyn? Huh okay."
"Huh what?"
"Nothing I just, I thought you'd look different."
"You,"
"No Kaitlyn I got this, EXCUSE ME?" Cody said turning his chair around.
"Uh oh." Will whispered.
"What the hell do you mean look different buddy?" He said standing up.
