*a week later, Christmas*
Christians povI woke up and rolled over, Kaitlyn was still asleep. I pulled the covers over her more and gently kissed her forehead. She moved closer and wrapped around my arm. I moved my arm out of her grip and pulled her closer, holding her instead. She was honestly the best present I could ever ask for.
I laid there like that until she woke up. I just watched her sleep. Not creepily or anything, just how she looked as she slept. Like how the sun made her glow. Or how her hair shaped her face as she laid on my chest. Or how she had the slightest hold on me, not wanting to let go. She yawned and opened her eyes.
"Merry Christmas sleepyhead." She chuckled.
"Merry Christmas awake person."
"You're cute."
"Thank you."
I chuckled as I kissed her head. We got up and started getting ready.
"That's a cute sweater." I said as she turned towards me.
"Awe thank you."
"It really brings out the blue in your eyes." She started blushing.
"Stop it."
"Never."
"You're wearing my watch again."
"Well yeah, always." She shyly kicked the floor. "I told you, I loved it. So I'm gonna wear it."
"I love you."
"I love you too."

"Merry Christmas!" Mom said hugging Kaitlyn as we walked in and I set the gifts by the tree.
We greeted the rest of the family and then Cooper took over Kaitlyn. He wouldn't let her set him down.
"So clearly Cooper has a favorite." Collin said.
"Hey it's not my fault he just loves me." Kaitlyn said as we sat on the couch.
"You give off a vibe that's why." I said putting my arm around her shoulder. Cooper let go and sprawled out across both of us.
"He loves you too." She said.
"Kaitlyn that's a gorgeous ring." Mom said sitting down across from us. Kaitlyn looked at it.
"Oh yeah, Christians got good taste." She looked over at me and smiled.
"He got it for you?"
"Yeah it's a promise ring. I uh gave it to her as an early Christmas present last week."
"AWE BIG BRO IS IN LOVE!" Cam said as he ruffled my hair.
"Shut up."
"Yes we're both very in love." Kaitlyn said as she fixed my hair.
"Well it's beautiful." Mom said.
"Thank you."
We played some games and talked and had dinner. And then came presents.
"I'M GOING FIRST!" Collin yelled as we all sat back down in the living room. He started handing us each a box. "You have to open them together."
"Collin are you pregnant?" Kaitlyn asked, making everyone laugh.
"No I am not thanks for the concern. NOW GO!"
"Dude what," I started to say as I opened it.
"Collin no." Cam said.
