Kaitlyns pov

Christian and I have been back together for two weeks now and honestly, it oddly felt like we were together much longer. It was like nothing had ever happened between us. It's like this was how we were meant to be.

Pretty much since we got back together we haven't left each other alone. We were either at his house or my apartment. We spent a few days at my place but today we were driving back up to his. I loved his house more and he knew it. Once we got back we were going on a date.

If I was being honest with myself, the past two weeks have been two of the best weeks of my life. We talked about a lot and learned so much more about each other. But during everything the one thing I learned about myself was that I still loved him.

"We ready?" He asked walking into the living room. I slung my bag over my shoulder.

"Absolutely."

We always took turns with the aux cord now. We actually had pretty similar music tastes, once I forced him to listen to Avenged Sevenfold at least. It was growing on him and I knew it.

He unlocked the house and my smile only grew. It was just something about being here that made me so happy. Let's be real it was the view, and Christian. I was unpacking my bag when two arms slipped around me.

"Hey babe." I said.

"Hi baby."

"What's up."

"Nothing. Just wanted to come hold you."

"You're adorable."

"Not as much as you." I smiled and ruffled his hair as I turned in his arms. He was always so quick to fixing his hair when it was out of place. But not when it came to me, he left it. "So I was thinking we leave around six? That gives us three hours to do whatever and get ready then."

"Yeah that works."

"Perfect. Well I'll let you finish unpacking, I'm gonna go start laundry."

"Okay sweetie." He kissed me and walked out.

One of the other things I learned these past two weeks is how he's changed. He grew from what he did. He acknowledged what he did was wrong and he fixed it. And he's proved it.

"I forgot how much I hate button ups." Christian said across the room as he stood in front of a mirror. I finished my makeup in the bathroom.

"Then don't wear it."

"But I have to, I can't wear a t-shirt and jacket. I told you it's a fancy place and it's only fair."

"And I'm telling you to wear your white t-shirt and leather jacket. It's fine."

"Yeah but you're gonna look like that and I'll look sloppy."

"My dress isn't even on yet."

"Yeah but I just know." I sighed.

"Oh Yelich."

"Yeah I know." I chuckled.

"I'm gonna change cause I'm done so we'll find out soon I guess."

I shut the door and changed. It was this short skin tight red dress I bought when Ashlyn and I went shopping a few weeks ago. It had long sleeves, the sides up my body had crisscrossing the entire length and there was a cutout in the front. Lace covered the whole thing.
