*a month later*
Kaitlyns pov"Are you excited to be back?" Moose asked as he peered over the seat.
"Uh I've been back for three almost four months?"
"No, here, Dodgers stadium."
"Oh. I mean it's a great stadium and I love the people but I'm happy in Milwaukee. I'm happy with you guys. That's where I want to be."
"AWE." Ryan said as he leaned on me.
"It's cause I'm there too." Christian said.
"Yeah he's not wrong." We laughed just as we pulled up to the stadium. But I do have to admit, I did love being back in Cali.
It felt oddly weird walking down the halls again. I thought it would be like any time before but, there was a weird vibe. I opened my office and turned on the light to be greeted by the entire Dodgers team.
"Woah y'all are like sardines in here."
"PLEASE COME BACK." They all said.
"Woah what? Guys I,"
"Please come back." Joc said.
"We need you." JT said.
"It's weird without you." Dustin said.
"And Stephanie is so annoying." Max said.
"And we just miss you." They all said.
"Guys I'm with the Brewers now you know this."
"Please Kaitlyn. Whatever it takes we need you back. We can house you or pay your rent, whatever it is please come back. We'll get you your job back we will." Max said.
"Are you all here just to convince me to come back?"
"Yes." They all said.
"Guys I'm, wait. Where's Cody, Walker, Will, Gavin, Kiké and Kersh? Why aren't they here?"
"Cause they didn't want to be apart of this for some reason." Joc said.
"Where are they."
"Clubhouse." I took off running to their side and busted through the doors. They all stood up as I ran in. I just looked at them.
"We tried to tell them it wouldn't work." Walker said.
"They wouldn't listen to us. No matter what we told them they didn't care." Cody said.
"It didn't hit me you guys weren't there until I realized everyone talking wasn't you guys. Of course Corey was there but,"
"No fuck him." Walker said.
"It's been so weird since you left. Your side of things entirely changed. No one listens to us anymore. We don't get along with anyone but us and the coaches. It's like two different sides formed. It's not an organization anymore." Cody said.
"Oh wow I'm sorry." I said.
"We knew there was no way to get you back here. Even if we could we know you wouldn't come. You're happy in Milwaukee. You're happy with Christian." Will said. "Oh we told Kiké since he was the only one of us who didn't know since he wasn't at the All Star game and saw you guys like Gavin and Kersh did."
"Yeah I figured."
"Everyone standing here just wants you to be happy Kaitlyn. We don't care where you are or who you work for or who you're with, we just want you to be happy. That's it." Kersh said.
"Woah did you just talk? Don't you pitch today?"
"This is more important."
"Wow."
