He can tell whatever has had Leila practically glued to her phone for the last hour with texts is troubling her and he gets up from his desk and walks over behind her desk and pets Geronimo who is lying under Leila's desk as usual and asks her what's bothering you baby and she looks at him and replies my sister is freaking out about being a bridesmaid, saying that she's going to be the ugly duckling compared to the other bridesmaids and no dress will change that and she's worried about tripping over her own feet walking down the aisle, hell even i'm worried about doing that, and she's worried about doing something that will embarrass me at our wedding and nothing I say to her seems to be getting through to her and he walks over to Leila and strokes her shoulder and tells her, neither of you are going to trip over your feet walking down the aisle, just tell Olivia that she's a beautiful girl and she could never embarrass you and that her being a bridesmaid means a lot to you and Leila smiles at him and asks him are you psychic and he laughs and replies no and she sighs and tells him, well i've already told her almost word for word of what you've just said and Bruno grins and says great minds think alike baby, why don't you ask your mom to talk to her and Leila laughs and tells him I swear you're psychic, I just texted and asked my mom to talk to Olivia and hopefully she can get through to her and Bruno kisses Leila gently and pulls back and tells her to think positively and she smiles and replies i'll try and tells him, ok i'm going to try and put this out of my mind for now and get back to going through your e mails, hopefully i'll get them done before we go to the jewellers and he strokes her hair and tells her i'll leave you to it and he goes and sits behind his own desk again and gets back to going through his mail.

She groans as she rereads the e mail again from Ellen Degeneres and looks up when Bruno asks her what's wrong and she tells him, Ellen wants us to go on her show to talk about us and about me being attacked and what happened to me when I was 14 and she wants to run a slide show of photos of us and Bruno says son of a bitch and walks over behind her desk from his own desk and pulls her up from her chair and wraps his arms around her and tells her i'm sorry baby, just ignore it and Leila lifts her head and looks at him and tells him I don't think I can, i'm not crazy about the idea or about being on tv and I won't talk about the attack, but maybe if we do it and tell the world that I didn't try to trap you and that you knew early on in our relationship about what happened to me and that I can't have children, then maybe the media and your fans will just let it go and not bring it up again, maybe they'll stop using it to attack me and our relationship and Bruno replies if you're sure you want to do it then we'll do it, i've got your back baby, always and she kisses him and pulls back and tells him thanks, i've always got your back too and Bruno laughs and replies oh I know that baby, remember that paparazzi last year who was following us around and trying to bait me last year and she smiles remembering and replies yeah, as soon as I saw you fist your hands I knew I had to do something before you hit him, so I poured my smoothie over his head, a damn waste but worth it and Bruno says yeah and he's kept his distance when you're out with me ever since then and there's been other times you've had my back, defused a situation, but that was the funniest, the look on that jerks face was priceless as he stood there with your smoothie all over him and Leila shakes her head and says yeah and I thought he was going to try to hit me for doing it and Bruno tells her, there is no fucking way that I would've let that happen and she smiles and tells him I know that, that's why I said try.

She sighs as the car stops and she turns and looks out the back window and watches as the paparazzi that have been parked outside their home for 3 days now since Bruno announced their engagement on twitter and TMZ posted about what had happened to her when she was 14, pull up in their cars behind them and Bruno shakes his head and tells her just ignore them baby and he asks her are you ready and she replies yeah, but if they think they're getting a money shot of my engagement ring then they've got another thing coming and Bruno laughs and they get out the car and she tucks her left hand into the crook of Bruno's right arm and they ignore the paparazzi asking them when are you getting married, lets see the engagement ring and they walk into the jewellers and Lonnie and Dave stand inside the jewellers by the front door and they walk over to the counter and a man rushes over to them and Bruno says hi to him and tells her this is Simon, he's the owner and Leila smiles and says hi to him and Simon says hello to them both and asks them how can I help you both today and Leila tells him that she wants 8 gold necklaces with birth stones as a gift for her bridesmaids and Bruno tells him that he wants 8 pairs of gold cuff links with his groomsmen initials engraved on them and 1 pair engraved with a panda face for his brother Eric who is going to be his best man and Simon smiles and tells them that he can help them with that and he points out gold cuff links for Bruno to choose from and gold necklaces for Leila to look at and asks her what shape and size of stone do you want for the necklaces and she tells him she's going cheesy classic with heart shaped birth stones and points to a gold heart pendant and tells Simon that size of birth stone would be great and he nods and asks her do you have the birthdays of your bridesmaids with you and she smiles and tells him yes and opens her handbag and pulls out a sheet of paper with the names of all her bridesmaids and their birthdays and hands it to him and he looks it over and tells her, thank you, you're making my job easy and i'll put your bridesmaids names inside of each of the gift boxes so you'll know who to give each necklace to if you want and she smiles and tells him that'd be great, thank you and Bruno tells Simon I came prepared too and hands Simon a sheet of paper with the initials of all his groomsmen and tells him I want a really good looking panda face on the pair of cuff links for my brother and Simon tells him that shouldn't be a problem, I can draw panda faces and tells them it's great that you've both came prepared and know what you're both looking for and he leaves them to look at the jewellery while he draws some panda faces and he shows them to Bruno who picks 1 out and points out to Simon the gold cuff links that he's chosen and Leila points to the necklace she's chosen and Simon smiles at them and tells them you've both made great choices and tells them he can have the necklaces and cuff links ready for them next Wednesday and they tell him the only thing they need now is gold wedding bands and when they can't see wedding bands that they like from what Simon shows them Simon draws wedding bands for them that they love, a double banded ring for Leila and a 3 banded ring for Bruno and Bruno tells him he wants the inside of Leila's ring engraved with, to infinity baby and Leila swallows hard and looks at Bruno and remembers when she'd said to him when they'd just got together about wanting to give what's between them a chance and see where they go and Bruno had told her to infinity baby and not caring who can see them Leila kisses Bruno and reluctantly pulls back and tells Simon to engrave the inside of Bruno's wedding band with, to infinity HD and Bruno looks confused and she leans up and whispers in his ear HD for horn dog and he laughs and kisses her head and Simon tells them he should have their rings ready for Wednesday also and they thank him and tell him they're going to be away for 2 weeks so they'll collect them when they return and Simon tells them that's fine and after Leila and Bruno pay for their jewellery and thank Simon for his help Leila tucks her left hand into the crook of Bruno's right arm again as they leave and when they get outside they ignore the paparazzi asking them yet again when they're getting married and to show them the engagement ring and they're almost at the car when 1 of the paparazzi pulls on Leila's left arm hard and Dave pushes him away from her and Bruno starts toward the paparazzi who pulled on her arm and yells at him, you're going to pay for that mother fucker and Leila steps in front of Bruno and tells him he's not worth it, i'm ok, lets just go home and she can see how angry Bruno is and she clasps his right hand and asks him, please let it go and he blows out a breath and replies fine and they get into the car and Bruno asks her are you really ok and she stretches her left arm out and says, see, it's ok and he puts his arm around her shoulders and pulls her tight against him and tells her I really want to beat that fucker up for putting his hands on you and she replies I know and if i'd had a smoothie in my hand he'd be wearing it and Bruno laughs like she'd hoped he would and she does her best to distract him and is glad that when they get home that Bruno isn't so angry anymore but she can tell what happened is still bugging him.

He watches Leila as she talks to his sister in law Cindia on the phone and notices her rubbing her left arm again that he's seen her do a few times since they got home earlier and he gets up from his desk and walks over behind her desk and pulls up the left sleeve of her sweater despite her trying to stop him and he says son of a bitch as he sees the redness and bruising on her arm and Leila tells Cindia she's got to go and ends the call and puts her phone on top of her desk and he looks at her and asks her why didn't you tell me your arm was hurt and she looks at her arm and winces and tells him it's just a bit sore and Bruno grits his teeth and tells her if I see that fucker again, i'll fucking kill him and she gets up from her chair and strokes his arms and tells him, please don't, he's not worth getting into trouble over, we've got so much to look forward to, so lets focus on that and not that piece of shit and she leans up and kisses him and pulls back and tells him just think, tomorrow morning we fly out to Las Vegas for your residency, sin city where I think we should do as much sinning as possible together before we become respectable and get married horn dog and Bruno laughs a little and leans his head against hers and tells her I love the way you think baby, and i'm not feeling so angry anymore, now that i've got what we can get up to in Las Vegas on my mind and she clasps her hands behind his neck and tells him good, just keep thinking naughty thoughts and maybe when we get home from dinner with Eric and Cindia tonight we can do some sinning and Bruno grins and tells her I can't wait and kisses her and although he still feels angry, he doesn't feel as tense anymore and that's because of Leila, but despite her easing his anger, the tension in his body and distracting him from that damn paparazzi who bruised her arm, he won't forget that fucker and god help him if he ever sees him again.
