Chapter Sixty Six ~ The Big Adventure Kicks Off

"What's wrong with those guys?"Luffy muttered after the White Berets left "Forget them that old lady ratted us out, she lied to us she said it was okay for us to pass through"Nami said "Technically she didn't lie, she just didn't mention we'd be branded as criminals if we didn't pay the entry fee"Nicole said "Yeah i guess you have a point"Nami said hanging her head down.

"In any case you're in a great deal of trouble you're now second degree criminals and as such i'm afraid Conis and i cannot assist you any longer"Pagaya said far away from the group "Why are you talking to us from way over there?!"Nami asked "I really don't see what the big deal is. i'm surprised you're not used to this by now"Luffy said laughing a bit.

"I've been meaning to ask why'd you come back Nami?"Luffy asked "What?"Nami asked "We were finally gonna get to set sail and head on an amazing adventure until you - i mean we were about to come looking for you we were getting worried"Luffy said laughing sheepishly "I think you and i need to have a little talk"Nami said before hitting Luffy.

"Forget about your big adventure! It's never gonna happen you haven't seen what i've seen that island is full of the type of people you don't wanna mess with and i don't care who you think you are, granted we don't know what this guy is but his power is real and there's no way i'm going back there again so forget it got me?!"Nami asked as she hit Luffy repeatedly.

"How about you just relax here while the rest of us go?"Luffy asked "We're wanted criminals i'm not staying a minute longer here either"Nami said, Luffy stretched his head over "Are you nuts? Get your priorities straight, the adventure is always the most important part!"he said "My priorities are life first then money!"Nami said showing Luffy's head in the clouds.

"Please tell me i'm third on that list?"Sanji asked going over to her with heart eyes "Don't push me!"she said punching him away "He brings a good point we put all of our energy to just trying to get up here but we never really thought about how we were gonna get back"Usopp said "Really? I thought we could just sail to the edge of the cloud and fall of the edge, it would be super easy, barely an inconvenience"Nicole said shrugging a bit.

"You're crazy! We'd just crash into the sea!"Usopp yelled at her "Yeah yeah, who cares, we'll manage"Nicole said waving it off, Usopp sweatdropped "Is there a safe way to the blue sea world? Can we even go home again?"he asked turning to Conis and Pagaya "There is a way but i'm afraid at this juncture it's no longer safe, your only escape is to make your way to Cloud End from there you can travel home"Conis said.

"What's cloud end? And how are we supposed to get there?"Usopp asked "It's a region that lies far to the east the only way for you to get there is to travel across the white white sea"Conis said "Okay do we sail east and we eventually get home"Usopp said "But i don't wanna go home" Luffy whined a bit, he wanted his big adventure "Your other option is to stay and get sentenced to death"Usopp said.

"Listen to me i don't want you causing any more trouble for Conis and her dad"Nami said pointing at Luffy "No don't worry about us"Conis said "Even if we leave right now there's no guarantee we'll make a clean escape we don't have any time to lose so just get on the ship, you'll have your big adventure i promise but right now we need to get going, so come on everybody let's set sail"Nami said leading the group over to the Going Merry.

But then Luffy thought of something "Hey old man!"he said turning to Pagaya "What is it Luffy?" Pagaya asked "Can i ask a favor do you mind if i take the left overs from earlier?"Luffy asked running over to Pagaya "Of course not they're all yours"he said and Luffy cheered "Come on Sanji make us lunch"he said.

"Glad you have priorities"Sanji said "In that case can i ask for a tiny little favor too?"Usopp asked "You're an engineer right? I don't suppose you could spare any parts or tools to fix our ship?"he asked walking over as well "What's mine is your Usopp you're free to take whatever you need" Pagaya said, the group split with the rest going to the Merry.

"You know there's no persuading Luffy of anything he won't listen even if we all gang up on him" Zoro told Nami "He's right you know, Luffy wants a big adventure he's gonna get a big adventure, it's better to just go with the flow"Nicole said following "We'll i guess i'll just stay put"Nami said "Well you're free to do whatever you want"Zoro said "I know that! But if i stay here i'll be killed!"Nami said.

"Yep quite a predicament"Zoro said leaning on the mast as he fell asleep taking a nap "Why are you being so snappy anyway? Not like our lives aren't threatened on a daily basis, you're gonna end up having a heart attack and die young if you keep stressing about it"Nicole said leaning on Zoro as she too took a nap.

Nicole yelped falling on Zoro as the Merry started rocking like crazy, Zoro woke up and blushed his face inches in front of Nicole's, Nicole didn't notice as she got up in a rush "What's going on?"she asked going over to the others "I think we're being dragged away but by what?"Nami asked looking over the railing "You sure we're not caught in the current Conis told us about?" Zoro asked.

"No i think we have a bigger issue here"Robin said as the ship was being dragged away by a giant lobster "Guys we're being hijacked we'll have to abonden ship! Come on we gotta move now while we still have time!"Zoro said as the others were holding on to the ship for dear life "We can't leave the ship! Without her we won't be able to go back home!"Chopper said "Then i'll stay behind just go now!"Zoro yelled.

"What?! No you won't!"Nicole yelled at him "Yeah forget it! You can't defend the whole ship by yourself!"Nami yelled "I'll manage!"Zoro yelled jumping down "Zoro!"Nicole called rushing over and grabbing on the railing watching him as Zoro tried and failed to cut the lobster he only managed to crack the hard shell "I don't think that will get you anywhere, come back on board"Robin said lowering the rope ladder.

"Why should i?"Zoro said looking over "You'll never be able to significantly damage that creature and we've got bigger problems now, look"Robin said as a school of sky fish were closing in on them "A school of sky fish is following us ready to attack we can't jump ship and escape now, even if we manage to defeat the sky fish i'm sure more will arrive to take their place our punishment has already begun and there's no way to stop it"Robin said.

"Heaven's judgment they must be taking us to the forbidden island guess they got tired of waiting, Eneru's really got it in for us"Zoro said "Come on Zoro"Nicole said and Zoro looked back, their eyes looked "Yeah"he said and walked over to the rope ladder and climbing up them, Nicole offered her hand as he got to the top of the ladder, he grabbed it and she pulled him over their eyes still locked, Nicole eventually broke eye contact but didn't let his hand go.
