Chapter 28

"I'm pregnant"

He spits out the recent sip of wine spraying it across the room whipping his head to the side staring at me his eyes going wide.
"R...really!"
He places his hand on mine leaning close to my face.
"Y/n... We're gonna have another kid?!"
I smile looking down at the ground and nod at his response.
"Are you sure?"
"I'm certain, Mira and you are the only two that know"
The was a short silent pause for a few seconds before I was instantly lifted off the couch in bridal style and spun around.
"How far in?"
"Only 2 weeks"
"Boy or girl?"
"Not sure"

He presses his forehead against mine putting a hand on the back of my neck,
"What would I do without you" he smiles pressing his lips against mine.

TIME SKIP

The next morning I wake up to Natsus head laying on my stomach with an ear listening closely.
"What are you doing?" I raise an eyebrow
"Listening"
"Right~"
"I can't hear anything"
"It's too small at the moment"
"Do we have to wait 9 months"
"Yes"
"I can't wait to tell igneel"
"We should wait a month or 2 before we tell him"
"Why..."
"In case something... goes wrong, he won't understand if something happens"

"Igneels probably at the guild with the others, c'mon let go see him"
We both get changed and walk toward the guide side by side, hand in hand.

"Any name ideas?" He smiles looking over at me.
"Well... Came up with igneel, now it's your turn"
"Well last night I was thinking, about your parents, you had a mom and a dad"
"Yeah, Ragnar and Pandora"
"Whatever gender the baby is we can name after your parent"
I smile at his idea giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"That sounds like a wonderful idea" I say giving him another kiss on the cheek.
Seeing the guild up ahead we smile knowing soon igneel will be in our arms,
"What do you think the kid will look like?" Natsu looks at me
"Well he or she could have pink spiky hair or look like mine but the baby might have my hair but the colour pink"
"It's salmon" natsu mumbles and gives a little grumpy face
"Just admit it... It's pink"
"Is not!"

"Wait, what... I didn't mean...thats cheating"

"Why don't we ask igneel"
"Oh look we're at the guild already"
I sigh with a smile shaking my head at his attempt to avoid the subject.
"You're a baka...you know that right?"
"Well don't forget" he wraps his arms around my waist pulling me in close kissing my lips whispering in my ear "I'm your baka".
" that's because I'm the only one who can put up with your dumb and reckless behavior"
"You know you love me"
"... I do".

We enter the guild and greet everyone happily, I walk to the bar with natsu beside me.
"I would've thought you'd be hanging out with grey clashing heads"
"Sorry but I can't"
"Huh, why... oh"
I faceplant the bar table knowing for the next 9 months natsu would be glue stuck beside me
"So when did y/n tell you?"
"As soon as she found out mira giggled
"awww c'mon, how come you told her first she's not your husband"
"No, she's my best friend"
"Fine but next time you tell me first"
"First of all 2 is enough second is a maybe"
"I got you pregnant twice who says I can't do it again" he smirks whispering in my ear
"I knew the risk though and I happily accepted the thought of having a second child"

"A 9-month pregnancy with you is a nightmare not to mention the pain of childbirth"

Mira nearly dropped a glass as I choked on my food giving him a glare.
"Imagine someone tieing a 10kg weight to your nutsack and force you to walk"
He gulped giving me a nervous look

Mira and I giggled as I pat him on the back.

I see igneel run toward us laughing as natsu picks him up
"How my main man doing huh?"
"Hey!... What about me"
"You're my mate, so that's different"

I shrug
"I'll tell you when I think of a reason"

"Right now our son is being more mature"
"Let's just go home, he looks a little tired".
We arrive home with igneel and put him in our bed for a small nap I wrap my arms around natsus neck and give him a quick kiss.
"Sorry but you're not getting away that easy"
"Is that so"
"I know so" he brings me close smashing his lips to mine forcing his tongue to roam every inch of my mouth licking my bottom lip breaking the kiss.
"Satisfied?"
"Yep" he grins
We sit on the couch together as he places a hand on my stomach looking into my eyes.
"Why does it take so long" He whines putting an ear against.
"You're not gonna hear or feel the child doing that"
"How come?"
I giggle and shake my head rolling my eyes "it's too young"
He sighs and groans in annoyance
"Sorry natsu but your gonna have to be patient"

He gives me a grumpy look crossing his arms sulking, I laugh at his childish behavior
"Seem as if I live with 2 kids already"

He pins me down on the couch my back pressed against the fabric looking down at me smirking
"Careful what you say" he presses his hot lips against mine trailing down my neck
"Pfff I don't have to be careful"
"Oh really? And why is that?"
"Because I have the best blackmail and threat"

"If you're not careful then good luck getting any action outta me" I smile
