a/n. I understand that they were swimming on the beach yesterday but it's winter, it's just hot where the beach was so go with it.

Graces POV

I woke up to Hayes shaking me, "babe, get up, it's time to get kayla"

"I'm up" I said

I got up and hopped in the shower and then got changed into jeans, a long sleeve shirt and a sweater and I put on leg warmers under my boots.

I wore my straight hair down and then put on makeup and went downstairs to eat breakfast.

I ate an apple and drank water and then Hayes came in from walking the dog.

"it's starting to snow" Hayes said

"I have to get my christmas shopping done today and tomorrow because I have work again on Monday" I said

"okay" Hayes said

"my cars been heating up so are you ready?" Hayes asked

I poured myself a cup if coffee and went out to Hayes car.

"ready?" Hayes asked

"yeah" I said

we drove to the place and it just looked so sad and all.

"what time does she get out?" Hayes asked

"7:15, and it's 7:12 now" I said

"im going to the steps to wait for her" I said an got out of the car.

I saw Kayla come out with her little bag and she came and ran into me.

I hugged her for dear life.

"I can't ever go 2 years without you again" kayla said

"same" I said

"that was hell, everyone in there is mean and it's freezing cold in there" kayla said

"okay, it's all okay now" I said

"no,no, is not. my mom and dad won't answer my calls and then they nicked my number. Im not going to have anywhere to live until I get a job. I'm scared" she said

"kayla, your gonna live with me and Hayes until however long you need" I said

"you and Hayes?" she asked

"we have out own house and we have a dog and he proposed to me yesterday on the beach." I said

"we're gonna help you get it all together don't worry about it right now" I said

"you have to tell me everything I missed" kayla said

"let's drive home and I'll tell you there" I said

we got in the car.

"thanks for getting me and doing all of this for me guys, I love yous" kayla said

"we love you too" Hayes said

Once we pulled up Kayla was wide eyes.

"your house is huge" she said

"thanks, now let's go inside where it's warm" I said

"I'll lite the fire" Hayes said

"if you'll be home then go ahead, but me and kayla are going shopping because I have work on Monday so I have to get it done" I said

"okay little miss sassy" Hayes said
