Chapter 69

Graces POV
once we got up, we all just got in the limo and went back to my house.
Once we got there I took a shower, and then got changed into sofies and a tshirt since it's starting to get got again.
I left my straight hair down and went downstairs.
"grace, were walking to Rita's, are you coming?" Cam asked
"yeah" I said and put my black converse on.
We were walking when we got to a main intersection.
"wait for the light to be green" Maura said
"we know" Nash said
"green light" cam said and we all started crossing, cam started skipping ahead of us when this car came flying, it went right through the light and it was heading for Cam.
"CAMMM" I screamed, he tried to jump out of the way but it wasn't fast enough.
Cam was hit by the car really hard, he went flying and hit the ground and he didn't move.
"no no no no!" I cried while running over to him.
he was laying there and he was unconscious. I laid my head on him and cried.
"someone call 911" maura screamed.
"I got it" Shawn said
I sat there crying on Cam and the ambulance people showed up.
I wouldn't move, one of the ambulance guys picked me up and handed me to Nash.
"no, no, let me come!" I screamed after the ambulance people.
"sorry, you can't because of his condition" the man said
"pleaseee" I screamed
"no" the guy said and went to close the doors
"I hate you!" I screamed at him and started crying again.
"I jumped out of Nashs arms and sprinted home, I'm pretty sure Hayes is running after me, but I'm not slowing down.
"grace wait up" Hayes yelled.
I kept running and once I got home, I ran inside and got my keys.
"I'll drive" Hayes said
"it's fine, I got it" I said still crying my eyes out
"no, your not driving when your like this, ill drive" he said and took the keys from my hands.
I got in the pass passenger seat and Hayes started driving.
"Hayes drive faster" I said through gritted teeth
"grace, I'll get a ticket" Hayes said
"I DONT FUCKING CARE, DRIVE FASTER!" I screamed
"calm down right now grace" Hayes said
"DID YOU ACTUALLY JUST TELL ME TO CALM DOWN! SHUT THE HELL UP HAYES!"
"Grace stop, I wish you knew how to deal with things because if you did everything would go a lot smoother"
we pulled up at the hospital and took Hayes about 5 hours to park.
I got out of the car and sprinted in.
"dallas" I said at the front desk.
"okay, go sit in the waiting room" the lady said
I can't stop crying, I walked into the waiting room and no one is here yet, Hayes came in and sat down next to me, but he didn't say a word.
All of the guys and Maura walked in.
"any update" Maura said
I couldn't answer.
"no" Hayes said
"I'm not gonna be able to do it, if he doesn't make it, I won't have enough money to take care of Luke and I won't be able to without Cam" maura said and started crying uncontrollably.
Hayes got up and took Luke and Nash sat with her.
Maddie came and sat next to me.
"is uncle cam gonna be okay?" she said
I just started crying, "I don't know" I said.
Hayes sat down next to me and I got up and moved my seat.
"I'm gonna go get some fresh air" I said and walked outside.
I can't believe Hayes said that, I wonder if he really means it, but I'm not asking because I'm not talking to him.
I was sitting outside and decided to call Trey, Richard, and Kayla.
"grace, I can't talk right now, I'll call you tonight" kayla said and then hung up.
"hello" trey said
"h-hi" I said
"what's wrong?" trey said
"cam was hit by a car and hayes uh uh we'll I'm mad at him" I said while crying
"why what happened, grace where are you?" trey said
"sitting outside the hospital" I said
"alright we'll I'm with richard and were on our way right now" he said and hung up
"what the hell did Hayes do, cause I swear to god" Matt said
"stop ease dropping" I said
"I'm sorry" Matt said
I sat there and Matt sat next to me and I cried into his side.
"matt, do you understand if Cam dies, I have to go up for adoption" I said while crying
"I didn't think about that, but I won't let that happen, I'll adopt you if I have to" he said
"no, I don't expect that at all. but if Cam dies, I'll have no close family other than G who lives in Ireland and I haven't seen in forever, and I have to call him"i said
I picked up my phone and called G.
"hello" G said
"g, Cameron was hit by a car" I said
"holy crap, I'll get the soonest flight over, I'll see you soon" and with that he hung up.
"grace, let's go inside" Matt said
"no, I don't want to, Hayes is in there and he's mad at me and I'm mad at him" I said
"why" Matt said
"I'm gonna have to explain it when Trey and Rich get here so I'll explain to you then too" I said
Matt got up and someone else sat there and then someone sat on my other side.
"grace, you need to calm down" Matt said while standing in front of me.
"don't tell me what to do" I snapped back
"I'm gonna go inside" Matt said
"me too" trey said
"grace, I already got the whole story on cam, but what happened with Hayes?" Richard asked
"he told me to calm down as I flipped out because you know that I hate when people tell me that, and then he was like I wish you would know how to deal with situations because it would make things go a lot smoother. I'm worked up about cam so now isn't the time to say anything to me because it's gonna get me mad" I said and started crying.
"do you want me to talk to him" richard said
"no, it's fine" I said
"alright, let's go inside" richard said
"no, Hayes is in there" I said
richard picked me up and I put my head In his shoulder and he went inside.
Richard set me down on someone's lap and I knew right away it was Hayes.
