Back then it was a tragedy of the loss from a great human, the flame pillar, Kyojuro Rengoku. It hit his family really hard, his little brother felt broken, his father went into a deeper depression and his beloved one was afraid... The tragic event has been now weeks ago and no sign of the now Upper Moon 3, Rengoku. Of course he had to share the place with no other, who turned him into a demon, Akaza. The news were brought from Tanjiro, who was shocked at the same time, and so were Zenitsu and Inosuke. He couldn't bear telling you that nor his family. But eventually he had to tell the whole group, Oyakata-sama told him to, even if it's sad.
{present day}
You were in your estate as someone knocked on your door, the nice silence being replaced now. You slowly made your way to the door, opening, it was none other than your best friend Mitsuri. „Hey (Y/N)-chan...Oyakata-sama wants us together for a meeting". You nodded, however it was strange for her to be so quiet? You tried to ignore the nervous feeling inside you...but it didn't fade away. „What happened Mitsuri-chan?". She sighed softly, looking you in the eyes. „Well I don't know, but I overheard and it didn't sound good. But let's see what Oyakata-sama has to say". She shared a closed eyed smile, which you returned. Soon you both were there, where the other pillars waited. Mitsuri went sitting besides Obanai and you sat yourself between Sanemi and Shinobu. As you waited, Tanjiro came first and Oyakata was behind him, with a sad smile. „Go on Tanjiro. It's sad but my children need to know it, especially the close ones". The young boy nodded and sighed, his expression turned into the saddest ever possible. And then something popped in your mind. Kyojuro...
„I really...no, actually we apologize that, we couldn't stop him...(L/N), he said that one day, you two will be united again. Take care of his father and brother...Rengoku Kyojuro...turned into a demon". This felt like a stab through your heart. He sacrificed himself to save the boys. But why would he just do that? He is the most amazing person ever and he has chosen to be a human eating demon?!

It has been awhile since the meeting. Everyone could see and feel the changes in you. Mitsuri was heartbroken...she couldn't make you smile like usual. Even Sanemi started to worry about you. Sometimes he would come over to your estate, bringing you food, talking a bit and take care of you. As so for Uzui, he came mostly every day to visit you. Because Kyojuro always told him to care for you if anything would happened to him. On some days Uzui would stay the whole night to watch over you! All of the help you received, you were thankful. It showed how much of a family you actually were. And Muichiro would occasionally come over for no reason and just lay in the grass with you, watching the clouds fly. ~~~ Today you were going on a mission to a near village, not far away, to take a local demon out. People said the demon was weird. He didn't attempted to attack anybody. 'How strange...' Walking around the village, many nice people greeted you, you returned the gesture. But then a scream caught your attention. Dashing over the roofs of the houses you came near to the forest, and there were small kids. But nothing was there? „ Hey kids. Were you screaming here?". The two boys nodded and hid behind you. „Something big and scary is in there". „Yeah and it wanted to attack!". Before you went looking, you rushed them home to their parents. Walking back, the sun was not to be seen. Night fell and stars were therefore the only light you had. The forest still was silent and no demon was seen so far. But how it didn't attack the people? Out of instincts you pulled your blade out, attacking the demon behind you. The sight made you stop... It was him... He smiled, pushing the blade away and taking your face in his hands. „What a lovely night, isn't it love?". You backed away, shock was written over his face. „How dare you! You promised me to come back and never leave!! And I should never forgive you becoming a demon!!". He sighed looking at your now tearful eyes. He could feel that he broke you, and not only you, his family and friends too. „I know you won't forgive me my dear...but listen to me! I protect the people, I don't eat them, I really don't. If I would, you probably wouldn't be alive now...". He walked closer to you, soon strong arms wrapped around you, holding you tightly. „I am dearly sorry for this. I hope someday I can make it up to you all". Kyojuro's voice was above a whisper, only clearly for you to hear. „I'm not mad...just really sad. We will never be married or have kids. But I promise to not let you get killed and like Tanjiro, I will find a way to turn you back to human". You hugged him closer so did he. „Before you leave, just stay with me like this for a little while, okay?". You hummed softly as he kissed your lips ever so softly. You missed this, but you won't give him up just yet...
