You were the youngest Tokito in the family. Your brothers, Muichiro and Yuichiro, were like your best friends too. Since the two twins and you got left alone, they took care of you. No matter what is was, a sickness or bruises or whatever else. They protected you and never left, not wanting to lose you to a demon. Yuichiro, the pessimist he is, would always complain about Muichiro taking you to the near by lake (just imagine for the sake of this story that there is a lake) was too dangerous and could kill the both of you. „Muichiro, stop being reckless! Your only risking (Y/N) pure life!! She's only 5!". Muichiro stepped a bit back, always getting shivers when Yuichiro would yell about something he did with you.
Yuichiro went to his twin, snapping your hand away from him and taking you inside the house. Muichiro was sad that he is never allowed or just to do something with his little sister. „Here eat your soup imouto (that means little sister for those who don't know). „Thank you onii-san!". You happily ate the soup, feeling the liquid warming your body. Muichiro sat there in silence, smiling every now and then when you'd look him in the eyes. He didn't understand why Yuichiro is being so overprotective that it got kinda scary.. As he snapped back to reality, his twin already had you tucked in bed, putting a finger above his lips. Signaling Muichiro to be quiet. „Why are you so scared brother?". Yuichiro froze at his question. „Why do you think?! I'm not letting her die like father and mother!!". Muichiro suddenly was pushed back and hit the small table in the room. The glass on top fell down and shattered in many parts. Yuichiro inhaled, clearly mad at him. You woke up, hearing yelling and probably glass shatter. It wasn't usual for you to hear screaming or yelling, it was peaceful and comforting. In the moment it was not. Standing up, taking your small plush with you, your small body ran towards the noises. It had you surprised that Yuichiro stood there, tears in his eyes as Muichiro looked at him blankly and sad.
„What *yawn* are you two doing...?". You barely held your tired eyes open, only to realize that Yuichiro was the one who looked surprised now. „Why aren't you in bed! We're discussing something that doesn't bother you!!". You stepped back and immediately felt guilty for interrupting the two twins. „No no no! I'm sorry!! Come here (Y/N)". Muichiro observed how you came up to him and hugged him closely. You nuzzled your head in his neck, his scent calming down your nerves from before. „Why were you yelling at big brother Mui?". He hesitated and looked over at his twin. „We are only scared to lose you..we want to protect your life with all costs". Muichiro joined the hug, smiling brightly again. „Yeah he is right! From now on we all are going to be more careful and have fun and of course not doing dangerous stuff"!". You tiredly smiled at your older brothers who finally agreed on something.
In the end the three of you fell sound asleep. The two twins protecting their small sister in between their arms and never wanting to let go..
„We only want you to be safe and happy in this world. Well stay as long as we can and protect you. Your two brothers, Muichiro and Yuichiro love you (Y/N)".
