You waltzed slowly back from a mission you had, which took you almost a week plus the way there and back took one and a half days. It exhausted you entirely out that you thought your body would go numb in the next few moments. But to your surprise, the headquarters were starting to show up from afar and you felt a weight being lifted off of your shoulders. Unfortunately it wouldn't mean you could rest and restore your strength again, oh no. Sanemi, the wind hashira, also know as your older brother, would let you train and improve your strength and so stamina. He had his childish reasons for that, but he'd always excuse himself with the same one; „Oi! Stop asking stupid questions brat! It's for your safety". You chuckled at the thought you imagined. You deeply understood why he'd let you overtrain yourself...to not lose you...to not let you slip away from him, his only little sister. And that's also why you never question it twice when it comes go discussions like that. Nearing the headquarters, you spotted the whit haired male waiting outside, his usual scowl visible on his scarred face. „Your a bit later than expected, idot". His words harsh, yet so soft speaking to you.
„I was caught up doing more than expected big bro! The area just lurked full of demons and as a hashira, I have to protect people!". You proudly said, until a sharp sting struck you on your hand. Sanemi chuckled silently, as he smiled gently at you. „Come on you brat! Let's take you to that damn butterfly lady". His normal behavior coming back as he easily pulled you up. Arriving there, he made sure that Shinobu would take good care of you, as so Sanemi had to leave for a mission he was assigned. 'A relief for myself and my body...three days should be enough for me to rest and relax myself before he gets back, yeah definitely' As you dreamed off into your thoughts, two gentle knocks were heard on the door. „Come in!". As the door opened, you spotted the water hashira, Giyu, your boyfriend. Well, you might actually question yourself, how did he managed to become your boyfriend without getting firstly killed by Sanemi? It took you a very long time of pestering and pleading him to accept your relationship but that wasn't yet all. You and Giyu haven't had a too big age gap, but you also dated in secret for a time and Sanemi hated the fact. But eventually he saw that Giyu did his best to keep you happy and that you, his little sister, were deeply loving him. And in the end Sanemi agreed to it, to make you happy.
„How are you feeling?". The male said, who now was sitting on your bed. „I'm okay...just really like the hell..tired". He gently rubbed your cheek with his thumb as you yawned. „Take a good night sleep and we will see each other in the morning, okay darling?". You nodded, to tired to answer back. He gave you a soft kiss before leaving and going to sleep himself. The next morning came and you were woken up by the sun kissing your delightful skin, the birds chirping and people talking in the distance. Groaning, you stretched yourself, eventually standing up some minutes later. 'Wow..can't remember when I had such a good sleep without getting woken up early by Sanemi'. Giggling at the thought, Shinobu came in to make a check up and see if there was anything she could do for you. By the end of your check up, you changed into your normal uniform and got yourself moving to the water hashira's estate. As you walked towards his estate, you remembered the first kiss you shared with him. It was so sweet and yet so romantic. Your cheeks burned up, now a slightly redish color.
„If was about to get you, but I see your doing better now (Y/N)". He said, a little smile plastered on his face. What a rare sight to see. „Can we go inside Giyu? I haven't seen you for one week and let's use or time before my annoying brother comes!". You laughed at your own statement while grabbing his arm and pulling him inside. „What do you want to do now?". His voice said behind you, making your eyes light up in excitement. But before anything you said, your stomach was faster and it was hungry..

After eating a good meal, you and Giyu washed the dished together so they wouldn't have to wait until later. Before the food, your actual idea popped in your head once again. „Giyu...love?". He peered up upon hearing his name. His blue eyes softly gazing into your (e/c) eyes. He then let out a 'hm', telling you that he's listening. „Can we..go back to bed...and maybe..just maybe cuddle?". You fiddled nervously with your fingers, a blush yet again presentable on your face. „If you are wanting it, we can..?". His answer sounding more like a question than a real answer, but that didn't bother you in a slight way. As you two got into his bedroom, you made sure that everything was comfortable and perfect for a good cuddle session. Giyu had one of his arms gently wrapped around your waist, while the other one caressed your face. "I missed that so much". He nodded, your presence missing did make him feel lonely. „I missed your presence everyday my dear (Y/N)". The male kissed your head as his eyes closed and so did yours too. The tiredness and comfort of the bed letting the both of you fall into a well needed and loving sleep.
„I love you Giyu"
„I love you more (Y/N).."
