You were sitting peacefully next to your closest friend Shinobu Kocho. Growing up together made you feel she was a sister to you. Life went great that moment, nothing could ruin it ever... ———— It was a breezy and stormy night. The wind was howling as the rain didn't seem to stop soon. That's when you walked into your house, and being greeted by the smell of blood. Spotting your family's clothes made shivers go down your spine. 'The only one who could've do that is a demon' you thought to yourself. Grabbing the knife on the counter you tried to see if the unwanted guest was still here...which he was. The screams you released didn't help...and so slowly the world turned black. ———————— Shinobu walked around the butterfly estate, cleaning the messes up and preparing her medical stuff if something or someone would arrive. But before she could even finish her 'to do things' her crow interrupted. „Caw caw!! A new mission has been assigned for you! Caw caw!! (Why did I feel so weird writing that sound?). As Shinobu made her way, Kyojuro approached her. „Hello Kocho! Your going right?". His cheerful voice said making her slightly annoyed at his loud voice. „Yes and I shouldn't hold myself any longer here. The demon caused such trouble that I have to take care of, so I'll see you around". He waved a goodbye as she made her way to the local village under the demons attack.
The village was shut down and there were only few people, the gross smell of blood and bodies were present, it wasn't the most nicest view but it would be soon over. As Shinobu walked around she noticed that something was odd with his demon. The attacks were not usual as to others demons. And then one house caught her eye. It looked very familiar...the household of her best friend... Hurrying to the house, crunching could be heard. 'I hope she's alright' But as soon as Shinobu noticed the demon, she felt that it was someone familiar. „Well, well, look who we got here. A hashira trying to defeat me?". The demon huffed and stopped back by the face if the hashira. 'It's the insect pillar...and that's great' You dashed towards her, not trying to kill her, but to make physical contact and make your blood arts work. She could dodge the first attacks and tried to slash your head of. One of a sudden, she stopped walking, her nichirin blade fell to the ground and her eyes empty as ever.
„I am ready to serve you, master (Y/N)". You were proud, very proud. But the hashira's face was bothering you, it seemed that somewhere in your memory you saw her. But it was better to ignore that and start playing around with the pillar. She easily would tell everything that you needed to know about the demon slayer corps...
{time skipey to were Kanao and Mitsuri come to save their friend}
The fight was getting nearer it's climax since you were getting out of techniques. So was Shinobu fighting Kanao. „Stop fighting!! I'm your little sister, don't KILL me!!!". She screamed in agony as Shinobu cut into her leg. „Finish her of hashira!!". Screaming at your victim, a sound of slashing could be heard. Mitsuri managed to cut off your head. Shinobu on the other side started crying endlessly. She made her sister feel so much pain, but in the end she was herself again. Mitsuri watched sadly as you became a pile of dust. „I just wanted...to have my...best friend...back". With that, the three girls made their way back. Shinobu glanced back, watching the pile. A tick formed on her forehead as she remembered how badly you betrayed her. 'You were my friend, but for your doings I am never going to forgive you. You deserve hell...'
