Mitsuri walked in the fresh breeze of the spring weather. It calmed her down to hear mother nature all around her. Her little walk took her near her estate as she spot someone sitting on the hill nearby. 'What is (Y/N)-chan doing there? Was she waiting for me?! Ahh I forgot!'
„(Y/N)-chan!! I'm so so sorry!!". You turned around to the soft yet squeaky voice of Mitsuri. „It's no big deal! I was fine here and just staring up in the sky". Actually you and the love hashira were supposed to train together, but she instead forgot about till she saw you(. „I knew you'd somehow forget it, but it's really no problem Mitsuri-chan! We all know how you forget things". Mitsuri puffed out her cheeks, sitting next to you on the ground that was decorated with many beautiful flowers. „Sooo...are you ready for out training session?". The pink and green haired hashira asked you. „Yeah, I'm ready". And with that said, you both went to the training ground.

{time skip to the sparing between you and Mitsuri}

And again...it all felt so easy for her. With a loud 'thoud', you collided to the ground, the sixth time in a row now. 'She's so incredibly strong and awfully amazing in her skills...I'll never be able to do that'. Mitsuri rushed over to you with a worried face. „Ah!! I'm sorry for beating you up like that!". Your body ached now even more than before, I mean being hit six times in a row does hurt quite a lot. „It's okay Mitsuri-chan! I still am standing here so everything's fine". She put a hand on her chest, sighing in relief that she didn't hurt you too badly. Man..how you wished to be strong and powerful like that. Even Muichiro had better experience in battle than you ever will. All of them were so confident and strong that there was no chance you'd compete with the hashira's. There also were times you would feel so jealous and insecure over all the things they could and what you couldn't. However the training you got from the most experienced ones, didn't really help to improve, since all of that was more than you've actually mastered so far.
'I'm just a weakling they keep around 'cause they surely pity me...I'll never be a true hashira'

„Uhm..(Y/N)-chan..? Do you want to take a break and eat something? We can continue later one". Looking up to her beautiful green eyes, you groaned. „I think I'll pass today's training and try to figure out how to improve myself. It won't do me any good if I myself can't use it..". With that you left Mitsuri confused, your words play over and over again in her mind. 'It won't do me any good if I myself can't use it...what does she mean by that. Are the others really that harsh on her lack of ability? What makes you say that (Y/N)-chan..?'
And so Mitsuri left too, searching for what your words actually meant. Before she even knew, Mitsuri bumped into someone and it looks like it was the sun itself. „Oh! Hello Kanroji-san!". Kyojuro's beaming voice said. The girl frowned upon thinking what she should tell, and the male noticed her unusual behavior too. „What happened?". „Well...you see. Uhh I don't know how to explain that..it's just that (Y/N)-chan had been acting really off and totally different from what we know her. But I think she is mad at herself for not being able to master our training sessions..I wanna help her!". Kyojuro crossed his arms and tried to puzzle all the things together. „You can actually help her really a lot Kanroji-san!".

As Mitsuri heard this, her big and beautiful green eyes lit up. „Really?! How?! What can I do?!!". The flame hashira laughed wholeheartedly and calmed the squealing love hashira. „Encouraging others helps out a lot. And it may be what she needs since it looks like she is doubting herself! Indeed she is a very strong person that hasn't discovered her full ability yet!!". Mitsuri thanked the blonde male for his kind words as she stormed off to surprise you.
'(Y/N)-chan your going to be so happy once I tell you this!!'

{the next day}

Mitsuri extra woke up early in the morning to prepare you some self made mochi's made with love and tell you then what Kyojuro had told her the previous day. It made her pump so much with energy and only the thought of your happy face made a wide smile pop onto her face. „She's so going to love this present!! I mean I hope she does..but whatever I'll help her!!". She put her fist in the air and exhaling deeply. After she finished doing her mochi's, the love hashira waltzed her way to find you. 'There's no way she will doubt herself ever again...I will prevent that! Yeah you do it Mitsuri!!'
Firstly she made sure to check out the hill you would always spend time with her..but there was no sign of you. Afterwards she rushed over to your estate, feeling you'd stay inside on a colder day like this. But again, you weren't here either. 'Where is she..? Don't tell me that (Y/N)-chan got a mission!' Mitsuri further on tried go figure out where all the places were you liked to hang out or enjoyed staying at. If this wasn't already enough, Mitsuri felt like giving it up already since it looked that you weren't going to show up soon. Suddenly, like a miracle, you stood in front of her. „Mitsuri-chan..? What are you doing out here so late?". She didn't spoke a word, only came nearer towards you. Taking your hand in one of her hands, she placed the mochi's that were in a box into your hand. „I made them for you! They did taste really magnificent to me and I hope you like them too!". She gave you one of her wide grins that only showed pure love. „Thank you! I-", Mitsuri put a finger on your lips and giggled.

„That wasn't everything. I would like to tell you something special, if you insist". Confused at what she had meant, you only nodded for her to continue. „I have noticed you have a lack of confidence and that your insecure about being so weak and useless to us. But that is so wrong and always will be. You are so amazingly talented and have yet to explore more of your potential!! The others may be harsh on the training sessions, but that's just because they want you to get stronger! I mean your so amazing and awesome and cute and so kind and-", you laughed at how she attempted to make you smile with these amazing words. „Okay okay!! It's enough compliments Mitsuri-chan, I do feel a lot better now. Thank you". She jumped in for a hug which of course you returned (i mean who wouldn't?).

„Don't ever forget to be brave and never let yourself down. It takes time but at some point you'll master it! Be yourself and give it the best you've got (Y/N)-chan!!".

„Of course I will you silly!".
