Wandering around the small town, you searched for the wind hashira that has suddenly disappeared when you walked to buy food. He vanished and it was no help that a festival was held with so many people. 'Damn you bastard!' The search for him turned from 10 minutes to 30, from 30 to an hour. And still no sign of him. 'Maybe he went patrolling in the woods?' Making your way there you swore that you heard his yelling. Rushing towards the yelling voice, it was Sanemi standing there and explaining to three children to go home and stay away from the night. All nodded and hurried off home. „There you are!!". Rolling his eyes he turned fully towards you. „Yeah and what now? Your totally proud that you found me eh?". His remarkable smirk appearing on his face. „No I was just checking everything till I heard your damn yelling brat". „WHO ARE YOU CALLING BRAT HERE YOU DIP SHIT!!!".
{time skip some days later}
Training for the day was done and Sanemi patted you on the shoulder, before making himself ready to head off to a mission that he got assigned. You went to get yourself food and something cold to drink, till you were stopped by Inosuke. „C'MON (mispronounced name) FIGHT ME LIKE YOU FIGHT THAT SCAR MAN!!". Your cold stare made him freeze up a bit, but it was far away from stopping him to fight you. „I told you more than once you shitty boar head. No". He screamed out of frustration balling his fists. „OH YOUR GONNA FIGHT ME!! GIVE YOUR BEST SHO-AHH!!". It only took you a second and you already took him out. You sat at top of him, while he tried to free your grasp. „Who's better now you shitty boar head, huh?!". Meanwhile on the other side Tanjiro noticed loud yelling, making him curious what was up now. And so he went to look what was happening outside the estate. The scene in front of him made his instincts react immediately. Parting you and Inosuke far away. „What did you too do?! All bloody and full of bruises! Who started that?". You pointed at Inosuke, while he pointed at you.
„YOU LIAR!! I NEVER STARTED THAT?!! YOU WANTED TO FIGHT!!". Inosuke flinched, wanting to attack you again but was geld back by Tanjiro. „Inosuke no! Stop fighting each other every second". His calm voice made you feel relaxed somehow, and all the anger you've been getting out vanished. But then Tanjiro yelped as Inosuke freed his grasp and stomped away...clearly pissed. „I'm going to patch up your bruises and bloody nose". He gently took your hand, leading you to a place. Heat rushed up your face as you scoffed at his sweet gesture. When you arrived, he cleaned all bruises and the bloody nose, wrapping up bigger spots and finishing you off. A blush staying on your face whenever he gentle touched your bruises. „So I think this is all! Your all patched up again (Y/N)!!". His gentle smile making your face redder every second. „Y-yeah thanks T-Tanjiro". He looked slightly confused at your stuttering. Tanjiro never actually saw you so flustered.
Especially not Sanemi's tsuguko..
„W-well, I g-gotta go now!". Standing up from the spot where you were, you waved a quick goodbye, only to be stopped by Tanjiro grabbing your wrist. „Hey uhm...(Y/N)-chan I...". He stopped speaking, gazing into your (e/c) orbs and leaning in. He kissed your cheek and flashed you a gentle smile. „Be safe. Will you?". You nodded and quickly made your way back.
'Shit shit shit shit'
„A pretty love interest, huh?". 'This voice. No...SANEMI WATCHED IT?!!' „Y-you idiot!! Stop bashing in my private life!!". He smirked, resting his arm on your shoulder. „He better be treating you right, or else I'll kill this bastard". Then he ruffled your hair, motioning at the same time for you to go with him.
'Oh damnit...'
