It was a lovely night with the moon shining brightly, the fresh breeze making you shiver lightly. Yes, you were a demon but at the same time you also were a hashira. To be exact, the shadow hashira. This special kind of breath was created by yourself whilst you struggled against the demonic senses. That's also why you took blood packets for helping you stay fit and not to eat humans. This isn't something every demon could and it made you special in a different way. The other hashira's were sceptic about having a demon as a hashira, but you soon gained all of their trust, with Uzui and Mitsuri being your best friends. But there was one hashira that admired your skill you had mastered. It was Giyu. Sounds crazy right? Well he saw Nezuko as the only one who'd master that but a second demon that could do that too and be a hashira. Not to mention also walk in the sun. It clearly was a mystery to why you could and Nezuko couldn't.
There were days that Giyu just loved to watch you and observe how strong you are, how you trained your students, being so kind and sweet with all people you see or meet. The list just could go on in his mind but Giyu was afraid to tell you that. Sometimes he thought you'd treat him just like the rest and only play nice to him. Rejection is the only word that repeat itself's in his mind, making him even more uneasy. The same time you walked up to him, holding a blood packet by your side. „Hello Giyu-san! Lovely day, right?". The taller male snapped back to only see you smiling at him, your fangs showing themselves a bit. „Oh...hello to you too (Y/N)-chan. Yeah I guess so, but weren't you assigned for a mission?". You stuffed the blood packet inside your bag and turned back to the water hashira. „Well I guess I was. But Iguro-san and Sanemi-san took over it and Oyakata-sama gave me a day off. He said I overworked myself and should try to rest". He nodded understandingly and stared off into the sky. „Then rest good, I'll be going now". You waved him a goodbye and went to your estate.
Giyu wandered around his estate, thinking about what kind of feelings he had got for you. It felt like it completed it him. Something really different then he ever had felt. 'Should I really try and confess to her? Or maybe just..ignore it..?' The male stopped in his tracks and listened to the calm chirping of the birds outside. He glanced through the window and saw that the sun started to rise slowly. Brushing the idea of sleeping away, he left his estate again, searching for a certain love hashira. Mitsuri had explained to Giyu that he had fallen in love with you and that may also be a good chance to finally confess to you. „You think I should just say 'I admire you'? Or does it sound to straight forward?". Mitsuri took a deep breath, feeling already stressed about teaching him about love. „W-well...heh..yeah something like that would work..? Just try to be nice and show her that you love her! Okay?". Giyu nodded, feeling already better than before. And that said, he had went searching your presence.
{time skip to lunch time}
After the water hashira found you, he firstly asked you if you'd like to join him for lunch, you gladly accepted his nice offer. 'Just do so as Mitsuri-san told you' The both of you chatted for some time till the male in front if you went silent. „Uh..Giyu-san, everything alright?". Your voice showed concern and he too noticed it. „I need to tell you something important but..I don't...I don't really know how..". You tilted your head in confusion and this got him a bit nervous. 'It's now or never..' „I admire you dearly and you just give me weirs feelings". Taken aback by his words, you nearly choked on your own saliva. „W-wait..so you like..uhm..me?". Pointing at yourself, Giyu let out a chuckle..it sounded so sweet. „I guess so. But you don't need to accept it". You nodded but snapped up again. „Hey!! I love you too!!". His face looked up again only to see you smiling widely. Butterflies built up in his stomach and a new kind of feeling reached him...happiness...
After the two of you got together in an awkward way, it all went good further on. Most of the hashira's couldn't realize what happened but still someone was happy *cough Mitsuri cough*. From that same day, there was no mission where you wouldn't be with your truly amazing lover. Even on off days, Giyu was a total sweetheart, like he cares that you took enough blood packets to restore your energy, that you feel good and loved. He did everything and just to see you smile.
