The cold and fresh winter weather was breaking in slowly. Each day it would snow more and more, which you were happy about. Most of them wouldn't even bother much and tell you to focus and not get distracted. However, the winter season always got you excited and happy. You loved the feeling of snow beneath your feet, the fresh breeze, the snow falling and of course making snowman's on free days. But what made it all better was, to do that with the mist hashira, Muichiro Tokito. Although he messed up more than once, you both try again and again to make a perfect little snowman. Afterwards you'd name every single one even the failed ones. Muichiro would only stare and question himself to why you do such a stupid and silly thing. But still he enjoys it to just stand there and watch you being happy. As a hashira you had big responsibilities and only short day off's, and since your the same age as Muichiro, you missed your childhood dearly. Before you became the snow hashira, Giyu trained you as his tsuguko and made sure you were strong enough and ready to take over a hashira's job.
And so different wasn't it today. You finished off all your duties and decided to do what you do every year on winter with all the hashira's. On a evening all you gather together and eat, talk and over all, have a good meeting between all of you. Mitsuri, Shinobu and you were preparing the festive decorations to keep the spirit up as Kyojuro and Sanemi prepared the delicious dinner they made every year, Iguro and Giyu didn't do much as always, the same for Muichiro himself. And Uzui made sure to entertain everybody with his flamboyant talking. „How wonderful it is to see everyone so happy and cheerful!! Don't you think (Y/N)-chan!!". Mitsuri's lovely voice beamed as she clapped her hands together. „Yeah it is Mitsuri-chan! I'm so glad that we can spend time together through such a tough time. It makes me sooooo happy!!". Mitsuri's smile grew wider than before at just seeing you so happy. „Okay then! Let's gather up together and celebrate". ———— You sat down in between Muichiro and the loud and enthusiastic flame hashira, Kyojuro. „It's great to see how you planned this (Y/N)-chan! As always it's something great!". The man besides you cheered happily. Muichiro grumbled lightly, tugging on your sleeve he caught your attention back. „What's wrong Mui?". He turned his head back, still tugging on your sleeve. „Nothing..". Turning your head in confusion, your (h/c) hair fell to the side as Muichiro took a bit in his food that Mitsuri made. 'What's gotten into him this time..? Did I do something?' You let the thoughts aside and chatted with your fellow hashira's about great times. Yet Muichiro kept silent the whole time. „(l/n)-san, it's a wonderful gesture you show us. I pray on for your good fortune". Gyomei smiled brightly, he felt really proud of you even though you weren't his tsuguko. „Thank you Himejima-san! I appreciate this very much!!". As time passed, the mist hashira started to get more impatient from second to second. He wanted you to talk to him and do something together yet the oblivious person you are, you didn't notice that easily.
As the celebration passed by, the most of the hashira's were half or completely drunk, much to your displease. But that were adults so you couldn't do anything about it. You decided to catch some fresh air and think about happy memories that you had made up until now, as a presence approached you. „What are you doing..here?". The monotonous voice of Muichiro asked you. „Uhm..I'm just remembering the beautiful times I had with the all of you. That's all..it was a great night, huh?". Muichiro narrowed his eyebrows together, as a huff left his mouth. "I don't know..". He turned his head away, staring at the moon that was shining and illuminating some light. "What's wrong Mui? Didn't you enjoy it?!". A little frown came onto your face as the black haired boy raised a brow. "I did..but you didn't give me..attention like you used to". It's like a lightbulb exploded and it gave you the clue what was going on. 'No way..is he really...jealous about that?' "Mui~ are you possibly...jealous?". You smirked at him as his pale-ish skin erupted into a crimson color. 'A rare side of him' you thought. "It doesn't matter anyway. Just shut it down (Y/N)". You stood up so you were eye level with him. "It's okay Mui-chan! I may haven't give you attention, but now I can give you some with a lots of cuddles!!!". You basically jumped on the boy, giving him all your attention till he would be satisfied. In the hug, his muscles relaxed and felt less tense, and he smiled.
'Being jealous maybe isn't so bad, right?'
