It happened exactly 5 years ago when your family was tearing apart. Every single one of them left. They abandoned you into the old wooden house an never came back. For the age of 5 you were intelligent and knew somehow to take care of yourselves, but there was no use when older people or creatures would attack you. That's exactly what had also happened that one night. A rather scary demon broke into the small wooden house you lived and upon entering, he smelled your scent. It was no wonder why he brutally entered the house. The demon was very hungry. Your small body hid under the broken bed, shivering, cold and full of fear. The creaking got longer by every second that passed. 'He's going to kill me..' A loud thud was heard but you couldn't dare to take your hands away from your face. You were scared to death and there was no doubt that if would kill you but then again soft footsteps could be heard. It seemed like all calmed down...
„You poor little child. What a cruel faith was put upon you. Take my hand and I will bring you to safety". The voice of the male was soft and calming, all of your nerves eased up and also made you look up to who was speaking. You were met with a rather tall man, tears streaming out of his eyes and red beads he held between his hands. He reached one out, in which you didn't hesitate to take. His large hand softly grabbed yours and so he started to go...
{present time}
Gyomei smiled to himself just by hearing your sweet laugh. He couldn't see you, but knew that you were growing into a pretty girl. „Gyomei-san!! Look I made a flower crown for you!". He leaned his head down as you placed it on his head. „I thank you my dear child. I appreciate your gift". You smiled brightly as the voices of Mitsuri and Shinobu were heard. „Oh (Y/N)-chan!! How are you doing on this lovely day?". Mitsuri's energetic yet lovely voice said, hugging you close to her. „I am doing great today! How about you two?". Shinobu smiled, a signal that she felt good. „I am doing good too! Thanks for asking sweetie". She kissed your head and bid goodbye to you and Gyomei.
{later that night}
Creaking was all you could hear...monstrous growling that became louder every second. You sat on the cold wooden floor, awaiting the final end of your life. The demon jumped directly at you, tearing every piece flesh away- ———— „AAHHH!!!". Sweat rolled down your whole body as the shivering started to slow down. The door was opened and Gyomei entered slowly. „I heard your terrifying scream my child. What happened?". As soon as he said that you launched towards him into a hug. „I...I am s-so scared...i-it killed m-me...". He put a comforting hand on your head, stroking it here and there. „It is okay my child, no demon would harm you ever again as long as I protect you". Your tear strained face looked up at him with a small smile. „You really are going to protect me and never let me go?". He nodded softly, patting your head again. Afterwards he had told you a story which made you fall back into a slumber peacefully. Gyomei smiled as he left your room.
„You don't have to be afraid anymore my dear child".
