The past few days were tough and that you were assigned to so many missions got on your nerves even more. But what else could you ask for, that Sanemi, your lover, was with you every frickin day. Not that you minded it, but please, woman need their private space too, right? "Oi! Michelle/(Y/N)!! Move your pretty ass over here" the white haired male yelled over to you. Without complaining you just went along with it and got there. Oh...how you wished to be with the girls now. Looking over, you saw him training, the sweat running down his face and body. Without noticing, a familiar heat grew on your face. Sanemi then side viewed you, a small smirk on his lips. 'Oh that bastard! Trying to make me flustered!' This was like a game of tag, just with teasing each other...and this always had it's ups and downs. At to your part, it annoyed the hell out of you and Sanemi enjoyed that.
After Sanemi finished 'teasing' you partly, the both of you headed towards the village you were assigned to. There the wind hashira was known good because of his many visits and you just came there two times. The people greeted the Sanemi, gave him small presents and...ohagi. To be exactly...a woman gave it to him, to your man. It wasn't that you minded her giving him his favorite food, it was that he flirted with that woman. 'Tch...if he'll play dirty like that...I'll fight back and teach him a lesson' „Oi Michelle-/(Y/N)-....where the hell did this bastard go!?" Sanemi whispered to himself, sighing in frustration and knowing how easily you get distracted in such villages. The man clenched his fists, a small scowl on his face but barely noticeable. How could you just go and not tell? What was wrong with you? Oh man...but little did he know you came across a fellow demon slayer and started talking to him. Unintentionally flirting with him, giving him nice compliments and whatsoever. Sanemi searched quite awhile for you and only to find you being too close to a fellow slayer. A slayer that didn't fit his standards. The wind hashira disliked the slayer because he didn't pass his training and only whined like a baby. But how could you be so nice to him and flirt with him?! 'What the- she isn't doing that is she?! Oh you'll regret that Michelle/(Y/N)!'
The poor slayer in front of you felt the death glare and practically his soul leave his body. But you? No...you didn't even knew he was behind your back and killing the poor boy with only his death stare. „W-well M-m-michelle-san/(Y/N)-s-san...I g-got to g-g-go now..BYE". With that he ran away which made you wonder what happened and the question soon was answered because a harsh grab turned you around. And there he was. A very mad Sanemi standing in front of you. 'Oh man...this is not a good sign..' „Oi! What the hell was that Michelle/(Y/N)?! Why were you so over him and stuff, huh?!". Oh, now he tries to be the protective and all but when he does it, it never counts? You frowned and looked away from his face which clearly made him more pissed than he was. „Listen you dip shit! I have done nothing wrong! I was supporting a fellow demon slayer and encourage him to go on, but you just stand here and try to play the tough guy even when you do the same!" You exclaimed angrily, but to your surprise, the taller male kissed you on the cheek. His scowl now replaced by a smirk. „Ah...I see. You were jealous because of that woman earlier. Don't worry my dear sexy girlfriend, your mine".
{later that day;back at his estate}
You cooked ohagi for Sanemi the way he loved them as an apology for your act. Surprisingly he was very calm and so soft after you both returned home. „Oi, you done Michelle/(Y/N)? I'm hungry". Chuckling lightly, you brought over his plate of ohagi, a bright grin on his handsome face.
„I love you my darling, even though I can be such a tease. But know that I only do this because I love you so much". He slid his hand around you and pulled you in his strong and warm arms. He seemed to be very soft right now and you loved it. „Ugh...I know that you ass. I love you too". With that he kissed your soft lips, savoring every second of it. Who knew that the both of you could get on each other's nerves yet be such a soft couple in private. Well, that will most likely never be answered and why?
Because your a strong and loving couple, fighting together to survive.
