𝐻𝑖𝑠 𝑐𝑢𝑟𝑠𝑒, 𝐻𝑖𝑠 𝑑𝑖𝑠𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑒

~New years eve Pt.1~

It's now New years eve, the 31st of December. It's been one week since my nightmare, honestly, I'm still afraid to sleep. But today, we are having a small party at our house. Felicity and Damian are coming to hang with me while Harrison's sister and one of his brothers' are coming over with their kids. That means I'll get to see Autumn again, but it also means I have to see Quinton and Zach. Luckily, Xavier won't be here, he's going to Zeke's place.

I was currently getting dressed, I wore black jeans, my blue long sleeved shirt and my blue ripped denim jacket. I was pulling my hoodie on when two arms wrapped around my waist, I jumped forward, shutting my eyes as I was afraid to look. The dream I had last week has gotten me paranoid now, the smallest things can scare the living hell out of me. "CC! It's just me!" Autumn said, I opened my eyes to see her standing there, a smile wide on her face.

"You scared me there Spring, I almost had a heart attack!" I said, dramatically placing a hand over my heart. Autumn let out a giggle as she ran over to me, jumping into my arms. I used my 'strength' to lift her up, sitting her on my hip, holding her securely with one arm while my free hand messed with my hair. I looked in the mirror, messing around with my hair.

Autumn made a duck face, putting up a peace sign causing my to laugh. I played along, throwing up a peace sign as I stuck my tongue out. Autumn let out a giggle as she made another face, she made googly eyes as she tried to touch her nose with her tongue. "You know, I can touch my nose with my tongue." I said, she looked at me in the mirror with a confused look. "You can?" I nodded as I stuck my tongue out, easily touching my nose.

Jax and I were born with long tongues, like... we-could-touch-the-bridge-of-our-noses long. Autumns jaw dropped, looking at me through the mirror as I licked my nose, from the bridge to the tip. "H-how..."

"I was born with a long tongue, I also... have a small-ish fork in it." I stuck my tongue out, showing the two peeks on it. I had gotten this when I was younger, Jax and I were playing around with scissors and accidentally cut my tongue. "Fork tongue? That looks like the thing those snakes have." She said, poking my tongue. I shook my head with a laugh, looking at my tongue in the mirror. "When I was younger, my brother accidentally cut my tongue with scissors... I was three when it happened. So I don't really remember it, just that my tongue is split."

I said, Autumn and I made faces again until we heard mom call us down. "Better get down there before mommy gets cranky, aye." I said, I adjusted Autumn on my hip before leaving my room and making my way downstairs. Once we got down there, I saw Felicity and Damian by the door. I smiled as I made my over to them, I gave Damian a bro hug, then a fist bump before turning to Felicity. I pulled her into a hug, she hugged back before looking at Autumn. "Hello, what's your name?"

"I'm Autumn! But CC calls me Spring. Are you Felicity?" Autumn asked Felicity, Felicity nodded her head with a smile. "I am Felicity, has Cooper been talking about me that much?" Autumn nodded her head. "Yup! He also said that your name is Damian, your the one from England who has a funny accent!" Autumn shouted, Damian's eyes went wide before he turned to me with a playful glare. "Oh, so my accent is funny now, is it?"

"Indeed it is mate." I said, taking the piss as I put on a horrible British accent. "Firstly, I do not sound like that, mate. Second, South west London people have a beautiful accent! Just look at Tom Holland!" He said, I just let out another laugh. "Oh! Did you know that CC has a snake tongue?!" Autumn said, gaining both Felicity and Damian's attention. "I beg your pardon?" Damian asked, Autumn let out a giggle as she turned to me.

I playfully rolled my eyes as I poked my tongue out, showing how long it was and the fact that it was split at the end. "Bloody hell mate... are you sure you're human?"

"Uhuh."

"How come I've never noticed?" Felicity asked, I let out a chuckle. "Because I can do this!" I pushed the two slits together, making them practically disappear. I let my tongue relax, the split showing again. "Bruh! What the fuc- fudge! Did you just do?!" Damian said, looking at me with astonishment. I laughed at his auto correction, that's the first Damian has done that. "I have no idea, I just... do it?" I sort of asked, I honestly didn't know how I did it, just that I could move both sides of it.

We made our way outside, sitting by the poolside as we started to talk. "Autumn!" I heard Autumn's mom call, she got off of my lap, looking back at the house. "You best go see what your mom wants, don't worry Spring, we'll still be here when you come back." I told her, Autumn smiled at me before running off into the house.

"I never thought Cooper would be nice to a child..." Damian muttered, I playfully gasped as I hit his arm. "I'll have you know that I am excellent with Children thank you very much." I said in a feminine voice, making a duck face at the end. Both Felicity and Damian burst out laughing, I just sat there with the stupidest smile ever.

"Nah, Autumn is nice though, she's kinda the only person I spoke to when I went to that family gathering." I said, shuddering slightly as I remembered the family gathering. "Autumn was probably the only one who willingly spoke to me..." I said, my happy mood disappearing. Felicity moved closer to me, pulling me into a hug. "Not all family can be nice, but at least someone did talk to you."

"Yeah, and at least your family won't guarantee children born from incest." Damian said, shuddering slightly. I couldn't tell if he was being serious or not but I still laughed. "SWEET HOME ALABAMA!!" I shouted, letting out a loud laugh as Damian tried to push me into the pool. I stood up quickly, grabbing his arms and trying to push him in.

We wrestled like that for a few minutes, trying to push each other in while making stupid comments. "I'm gonna throw your ass in there for all the beef I have with you!"

"I ain't no vegetarian but you don't need that much beef!" I fired back, Damian spun me around. Instead of landing in the pool, I crashed into one of the bushes, it practically swallowed me. "GET ME OUT OF THIS NOW!!" I shouted, I was in the weirdest position ever. One arm was hanging by my head while the other was somehow behind my back. My legs were bent really weirdly too, I felt like a fucking pretzel.

"BRO!! HOW THE FUCK DID A BUSH SWALLOW YOU?!" Damian shouted, but I could hear him laughing. I could honestly imagine him rolling around right now with tears in his eyes from laughing so much. "JUST GET ME UP!! I CAN FEEL A BRANCH TRYING TO POKE THROUGH MY ASSHOLE!!!" I shouted, I heard Damian go silent. He gasped really loudly as he started full on wheezing, I bet he was tomato red now. "Please... just get me out..." I said, my back starting to hurt from the branches pushing into my back.

"Hold up man, I'm coming." Damian ran over after he stopped laughing, a few chuckles escaping his lips as he helped me out of the bush. "I actually fucking hate you right now." I said as I brushed the leaves off of me. Damian just laughed again. "I think you need to cool off my friend!" I said as I shoved Damian into the pool, laughing my ass off at his amazing belly flop. When he rose to the surface, he stared at me dead in the eye.

"I will murder you in your fucking sleep mate."
