C O O P E R

It's been two days since new years eve, two days since everything changed...

Two days since I kissed Felicity, then she ran off...

I was currently sitting on my bed, my phone laying beside me as it quietly played music. It's about 7:58 a.m, I haven't moved since I woke up at 4 a.m.

I picked up my phone, looking at my text messages.

She still hasn't responded, I'm really losing hope

She still hasn't responded, I'm really losing hope... God, my stupid ass just had to go and kiss her, what I expect? Her to kiss back? Stupid! So Stupid!

I turned my head as I heard a knock on my door, I let out a small sigh, placing my phone down. "Come in." I muttered, placing my arm over my eyes as I lay back in my bed. My door opened and I heard someone walk in, I felt the bed dip, causing me to peak out from under my arm. Blake was sitting at the end of his bed, looking tired as hell.

"Yes Blake?"

"Grace told me to come get you, something about breakfast..." He muttered, trying to remember what my mom had said. "Okay, I'll be down in a sec." I said, Blake nodded his head before leaving.

I put my phone on my bedside table before getting up and making my way downstairs, Mom, Harrison, Blake, James and Xavier were in the kitchen, eating breakfast while chatting about anything and everything. "Morning mom." I said as I walked over to the stack of pancakes, taking two before smothering them in chocolate.

"Morning Cooper, how was new years eve? Was it fun? I noticed Felicity left early?" I felt my heart drop, my face falling slightly. I quickly put on my mask, having a casual face as I nodded my head. "Yeah, she had to go home early." I said, taking a bite of my pancakes. "Hmm, that's a shame, Felicity is a nice girl to be around, she should come over more often!" Mom said before going back to a conversation with Harrison.

"Hey, uh mom. I'm going to go to the store, just got to got something." I said as I finished off my plate, Mom looked at me weirdly. "What do you need to get?"

"Just some food for tomorrow, I'm going camping. Damian might come, I don't know though." I said as I stood up, mom nodded her head. "Take your phone with you please." I nodded my head, I went upstairs and grabbed my phone. I checked my texts messages, no text from Felicity. I let out a sigh as I quickly got changed. I put on a long sleeve white shirt, a short sleeved black shirt on top. I but my blue ripped jeans on before messing around with my hair.

I put my phone in my pocket before making my way back downstairs and out the front door, I kept my head down as I walked towards the supermarket. As I was walking, I felt a shiver run down my spine. I stood still for a second, I could feel a breath on my neck, causing me to spin around. Nothing.

I shook my head as I kept walking, trying to ignore my stupid paranoia. "That building looks awfully fun to climb..." A voice whispered into my ear, causing me to jump in fright. I spun around quickly, there I saw it, the black crow. Not just any crow, but Suicide's crow. I knew it was his because Emptiness's crow was smaller, he had blinding white eyes whereas Suicide's crow was bigger, had a longer tail and had skulls for eyes... if that makes sense...

"What do you want?" I asked, the crow hollered out, changing into black smoke before reappearing as Suicide, his crow sitting on his shoulder. "We just wanted to say hi, Bullet and I get a bit... bored with the others... you're a lot more fun." Suicide croaked out. "I'm guessing Bullet is the birds name?"

"The Crow, but yes, her name is Bullet. Besides, Void is annoying to her too." Suicide said, Void was Emptiness's crow, although he was small, he scared the shit out of me. "So you came here... why? To inform me how fun a building looks to climb?"

"Oh don't be so tight! Loosen up C! Besides, between you and me... you're my favourite person to hang around." He whispered into my ear, I rolled my eyes as I started to walk. "Wow, I feel so honored." I retorted as I didn't bother turning around to look at Suicide, but I could here him following me. "You should, Bullet and I don't warm up to people so easily... you must be special!"

"You mean like -talking-to-a-made-up-demon-whose-in-my-head-and-haunts-my-dreams- special?" I asked, ignoring Bullet who was now sitting on my shoulder. Suicide let out a laugh, placing his hand on my shoulder. I felt another shiver go down my spine, but it didn't feel good.

"Look, I get you just want someone to talk to, but I don't want to walk down main street looking like a madman talking to his own shadow, so please leave." I said, waving my hand over my shoulder. Bullet let out a shrieking cry as she retreated from my shoulder, sitting back on Suicide's weapon hilt. "What if I made myself unnoticeable? Like if I turned into a crow?" Suicide clapped his hands together, fading into smoke before reappearing as a large crow, even bigger than Bullet.

I let out a sigh, clearly Suicide will not leave me alone so I just sucked it up. I patted my shoulder, Suicide let out an excited cry before flying over and sitting on my shoulder. I tried my best to ignore him, making my way into the supermarket to get what I wanted.

I grabbed a big pack of Mountain Dew, along with some more strawberries and Nutella, because my god! Melted Nutella and strawberries... Fucking heaven. I made my way to one of the checkouts, placing the stuff down before pulling a twenty dollar note out of my pocket. "Is that all today?" The dude asked, I nodded my head and handed him the twenty dollar note. He handed me my change, I picked up my things and left.

I made my way back home, Suicide still on my shoulder, sitting perfectly calm that it scared me slightly. Once we got home, I made my way upstairs, placing my things on my bed before pulling out my phone. "If she hasn't messaged you back, maybe she isn't worth it." Suicide said as he roamed around my room, looking at the many photos I had of Felicity.

"Things are just complicated right now okay? She'll message me when she's ready..."

"All you did was kiss her... yet she won't respond to you... She. Isn't. Worth. It." He seared out through clenched teeth, I spun on my heel, stomping towards Suicide with rage. "Don't you dare say she isn't worth it! She is the only thing I care about and I will not give up so easily, I will not lose her so soon... she will never not be worth it." I growled out, when Suicide didn't say anything, I turned around and went to packing my back to head to the hideout.

"Maybe you should tell her that..." Suicide whispered before disappearing into smoke, leaving me completely alone. I sighed as I pulled out my phone, looking at Felicity's contact for a second before going to Damian's and calling it. "Ello?"

"How would you feel about camping for a few days?"
