Second class we had Music, Damian and I were jamming out in one of the rooms. Damian was on the guitar, strumming random notes, I had an idea and told him to keep playing. Damian nodded his head, playing those notes again in a steady rhythm. I had lyrics come to mind, so, I wrote them down.

I got voices screaming in my head,
Monsters hide under my bed.
My dreams are haunted with their words,
My nightmares, filled with deaths' curse.

Peace, that's all I ask for,
A minute of silence, maybe more.
Leave me alone, just leave me be,
All I want is to feel free.

Pain, pain, Misery,
With a blade I'm gonna bleed.
Pain, pain, Agony,
This is my reality.
Pain, pain, Misery,
I hurt myself so happily.
Pain, pain, Agony,
This is my reality.

Brutality is how I go,
Flying through life like a crow.
Join the club, feel the beat.
Just feel the rhythm, how bittersweet.

Peace, that's all I ask for,
A minute of silence, maybe more.
I won't crumble at your feet,
It'll take more than a little heat.

Pain, pain, Misery,
With a blade I'm gonna bleed.
Pain, pain, Agony,
This is my reality.
Pain, pain, Misery,
Hurt myself so happily.
Pain, pain, Agony,
This is my reality.

At night I lie awake,
the voices going wild.
I do the best I can,
Try to calm down awhile.
But all I hear is shouts and screams,
Haunting all of my dreams,
I wish that I could disappear...
I promise I won't interfere...
Just set me free.

Pain, pain, Misery,
With a blade I'm gonna bleed.
Pain, pain, Agony,
This is my reality.
Pain, pain, Misery,
Hurt myself so happily.
Pain, pain, Agony,
This is my reality.
Pain, pain, Misery,
Their words make new injuries.
Pain, pain, Agony,
Jumping from the balcony.
Pain, pain, Misery,
I'll accept fatality.
Pain, pain, Agony,
This is my reality.
Reality, Reality,
This is my reality, reality.
Just set me free.

I smiled as I finished the lyrics, probably a bit deep but oh well. Slaughter looked at the page from over my shoulder, letting out a hoot as he flew around the room, he landed back on my shoulder. "You like it?" I asked him, he nodded his head in agreement. Damian looked at me confused, I handed him the sheets and he looked them over. "Dude, as much as this is deep, that would actually make a good song... the way it's written reminds me off..."

"Three days Grace?"

"Yeah! It's honestly really good though dude, I'd pay to listen to that." He said with a smile as he handed me the sheets back, I placed them down before turning back to Damian. "So, what chords could we use for it. Preferably low sounding ones... you know?"

"Well... I was thinking something along the lines of E minor, A minor, C and... G5, that might sound nice..." Damian said as he made the shapes on the guitar, I nodded my head as I picked up the sheet. "Right then, lets try it."

It was now lunch, Damian and I were sitting at our table, hoping that Felicity would come over. I wouldn't eat as I kept looking between the doors and the numerous tables, wishing that Felicity would appear and sit with us. "You need to eat Cooper. We have P.E after this." Damian said as he took a bite out of his sandwich, I let out a sigh as I pulled out some strawberries.

I was mindlessly eating when the cafeteria doors swung open, Zeke and his posse made there way over to their table. He walked with his usual smugness, that stupid smirk on his face. Girls waved seductively while guys gave him high fives. Typical popularity. Ashton was the same beside him, sucking up all of the glory. Normally I'd go back to eating my lunch but one thing caught my eye, or rather, one person.

Felicity...

I felt as though my heart just stopped beating as I saw her sit between Zeke and Ashton, Zeke placed a kiss on her cheek so she smiled in return. She didn't even glance over, not once. Yet I saw Zeke smirk at me.

Funny, we aren't even dating yet I fell like I've had my heart crushed. This was exactly why I didn't want to be friends with anyone, or fall in love for that matter...

I'm always the one that get's hurt...

"Cooper..." Suicide said as he sat beside me, Bullet sat on my shoulder, trying her best to comfort me. Like me, Damian was staring blankly at Felicity and Zeke. But only one thought was running through my head...

She was faking all along...

Everyone else walked away, like expected. I slowly slid to the ground, holding my stomach as I felt the tears start to fall.

"Here." I looked up to see a girl around my age kneeling down in front of me. She had light brown hair with natural blonde tips at the bottom, she had beautiful blue eyes that shone with a hint of silver. She was holding a tissue out for me, I eyed the tissue before looking up at her. "I'm not like them, I promise." She had a strong Italian accent as she spoke. I took the tissue out of her hand, pressing it to the side of my head. She sat down beside me, pulling out another tissue and pressing it against my split lip.

"Why are you helping me?" I asked, my voice just above a whisper. Another silent tear fell as I looked at her, my eyes searching her for some sort of sign that this was all a prank. She would help me for a bit then push me back down and laugh, then she'd walk away and leave me like the rest of them did. "I know how it feels." She simply said. "The jokes hurt, the comments about the self harm. The pushing and shoving, the kicks and punches. I know how much it hurts."

"Y-You self harm?" She lifted her sleeve up, showing me the singular scars along her forearm. I lifted up my sleeve, showing her my scars. She looked at my arm before placing her hand on my arm. "I know how it feels, I know it hurts." She pulled me into a hug, not caring if she got blood on her. "T-thank you." I whispered, another stray tear falling, landing on her hair. "I-I never got your name."

"Felicity, Felicity Romano. I just moved here a few days ago, I started today and I've decided you're the only person I want to talk to."

"That makes two of us." I said with a small smile, I started to get up, using the locker to pull myself up. "Cooper, Cooper Bryan. It's a pleasure to meet you Felicity... maybe even a blessing." Felicity smiled before handing me my bag, I thanked her before taking it. "What class do you have?"

"I'm not sure, I was hoping you could help me?" She asked, handing me her schedule. I looked over it, a smirk growing over my face. "You, miss Licity, are stuck with me for the day." Felicity took her schedule back before smiling. "Yay! At least I'll have someone to sit with!"
