"Are we there yet?" Damian asked, I made a sharp turn, racing down a gravel road. "Almost!" I made another sharp turn, coming into an old abandoned race track.

They had abandoned it after nearly ten people had died on the same day from something to do with the track. So I had this place all to myself.

"Holy shit!! What is this?!"

"An old racing track my friend, it's been abandoned for sixty two years, no one knows it's here." I said, Damian let out a laugh as he climbed out of the car. "How will we see the track?" I turned the car off, climbing out and heading to the old race callers tower. I went inside and found the large power switch.

I pulled it down, the loud click sounding out. One by one, the track lights came on, illuminating the whole place. Damian let out a low whistle as he took the place in.

"So... you want to go first?"

Damian came to a stop, getting out of the car with a smile wide on his face. "That. Was. AWESOME!!!" He shouted, letting out a boyish laugh. I placed a cigarette in my mouth, lighting it as I walked over to Damian.

"That was awesome, but... I think you could do better." I said, Damian turned to me with a glare. I let out a chuckle as I blew out a puff of smoke, I climbed into the car, winding the window down and looking out at Damian. "Watch and learn."

I slammed on the gas, putting the car into gear. The tires screeched as the car went off, my hand naturally changed gears as I picked up speed. I took a puff of my cigarette, changed the gear and spinning the wheel so that I drifted around the corner.

I sped around the race track, throwing in a drift here or there. I let out a whoop as I sped down the clearing, it was times like this I felt alive.

I came back towards the start, I hit the brake, shifted the gear and spun the wheel. The tires screeched as the car spun one eighty degrees, the front just missing Damian. I slammed the brake, stopping the car. Smoke drifted around the car, finally disappearing as I got out of the car.

What I did not expect was to see three other cars.

I took another puff of my cigarette as Zeke, Ashton and some other dude climbed out of their cars. I let the cigarette smoke fall from my mouth as Zeke strode over to us. "Even I'll admit, that was alright." Zeke said, I scoffed as I took another puff. "Since when did little Cooper start smoking?"

"Since when did you fucking care?" I sassed back, I gave Damian a look, he nodded and got into the passengers seat. Zeke let out a laugh, he looked down at the packet in my hand. "Mind if I have one?" He asked, I hid the smirk as I pulled one out. "Sure." Zeke went to take it, before he could reach it, I flicked my wrist, throwing the cigarette far from us.

"Go fetch." I said before climbing into the car, I had thrown the cigarette directly in front of the car. I slammed on the gas, speeding over and crushing the cigarette. I rolled the window down, flipping the three of them off as I drove away, leaving them in a cloud of smoke.

"Firstly... holy shit I didn't know you were that good and driving! Second, Zeke deserves that." Damian said, I let out a chuckle as I threw my finished cigarette out of the window. I changed gear as I sped up, wanting to get away from that place quickly. "You still up for ice cream? It's only... eleven." I said, Damian nodded his head.

I drove to the nearest ice cream parlour, Damian got his precious Rum and Raisin while I got classic Chocolate with a flake in it. Once we had what we wanted, we got back in the car.

I started to drive back home when my phone rang, I pressed a button in the car, a click sounded. "Hello?"

"Hey Cooper, It's Blake, Grace is wondering when you'll be home."

"We are almost home now, is your room ready for Damian?"

"Yeah it is, just hurry up cause Grace is getting anxious."

"All good." I said as I ended the call, I sped up slightly. We came to the driveway, I hit a button on the roof of the car, causing the garage to open.

I parked the car in the garage, turning it off as both Damian and I got out. I hid the cigarettes in my pocket, making sure I didn't smell of them as I walked inside. "Hey mom! We are back!" I shouted, mom made her way in. She stopped as she sniffed the air, a foul feature on her face.

She walked closer to me, taking another sniff before covering her nose. "Why do you smell of smoke?"

"We stopped at the ice cream parlour and their was some old dude out the front smoking, I guess I walked through the smoke." I lied easily, mom just let out a sigh. "Just go shower, you smell of it." I nodded as I made my way upstairs, locking my bathroom door as I stripped and got in the shower.

Once I was out, I wrapped a towel around my waist. I started to dry my hair, humming a song as I did so.

"'Cause if I stand up, I break my bones
Everybody loves to see it fall unfold
Ain't nobody giving up
Cause nobody gives a fuck
Stand up, and break my bones
Everybody wants what they just can't hold
There's nobody praying for me."

All of a sudden, my hands stopped moving, I stopped singing. I felt my breath hitch as I could feel him behind me. The towel dropped from my hands, my eyes focused on my reflection... but it wasn't exactly me.

Instead I saw a bloody boy, his eyes were missing, yet he was crying blood. His lips were trembling, blood dripping from the side of his lips. He had blood seeping down his arms, he had about fifteen cuts over both of them.

He blinked, a sob escaping his lips as he looked down at his arms. He pulled them closer to his body, not caring that blood was getting on him. He moved backwards slightly, showing the other ten cuts across his upper thighs.

I looked in the mirror, at the boy. I shook my head as I looked at him, he looked back up, a pleading look on his face. He dipped his finger in the blood, lifting it to the mirror before he began to write.
