*One month later- May 21*
I packed the last of my things, three bags worth of clothes, accessories and other things I wanted to take. I walked to the door of my bedroom, looking back at it. All I could see was blood, blood blood and more blood. I shut the door as I made my way downstairs.
Levi and Lilli were waiting for me, thy had flown from Florida to see me, and to bring me with them. When I got downstairs, everyone was waiting... even Damian and Felicity. I felt slightly awkward walking down the stairs to see everyone looking at me.
Mom was the first to hug me, holding me tightly. "Get better baby... please get better... for you, for us, for everyone, okay?" I nodded my head, Blake, James and Carlos gave me a small hug, so did Harrison before I turned to Damian and Felicity.
I pulled out two bracelets, lockable ones like mine. I put one on Damian's wrist, the other on Felicity's. "The key?" Felicity pulled the necklace off, placing it in my open hand. I held the key tightly before placing it around my neck.
I held out my hand with the bracelet, looking at the lock. "A promise... that when I get back, we fix what was broken, and only then will we take them off." I said, both of them nodded. I gave them one last smile before turning to Levi and Lilli.
"Let's go." I said, they took one of my bags each, taking it out to the taxi. I gave one last glance at the house before climbing into the taxi. I put my headphones in, listening to music as we drove away.
You can have a sound of the thousand voices calling your name
You can have the light of the world blind you, bath you in grace
But I don't see so easily what you hold in your hands
'Cause castles crumble, kingdoms fall and turn into sandYou can be an angel of mercy or give in to hate
You can try to buy it just like it every other careless mistake
How do you justify I'm mystified by the ways of your heart
With a million lies the truth will rise to tear you apartWoah
No one gets out alive, every day is do or die
The one thing you leave behind
Is how did you love, how did you love?
It's not what you believe those prayers will make you bleed
But while you're on your knees
How did you love, how did you love, how did you love?Nothing ever feels the quite same when you are what you dreamed
And you will never look at anything the same when you see what I see
How we forget ourselves, lose our way from the cradle to the grave
You can't replicate or duplicate, gotta find your own wayNo one gets out alive, every day is do or die
The one thing you leave behind
Is how did you love, how did you love?
It's not what you believe those prayers will make you bleed
But while you're on your knees
How did you love, how did you love, how did you love? This ain't no cross to bury
We are the judge and jury, we are the judge and juryNo one gets out alive, every day is do or die
The one thing you leave behind
Is how did you love, how did you love?
It's not what you believe those prayers will make you bleed
But while you're on your knees
How did you love, how did you love? This ain't no cross to bury
We are the judge and jury
This ain't no cross to bury
We are the judge and juryHow did you love, how did you love?
How did you love, how did you love?
How did you love, how did you love?
How did you love, how did you love?Within a few minutes, we were at the airport. We got out, grabbing our stuff before heading inside. I followed Lilli and Levi, since I've never actually been in an airport before. "You want something to eat before we get on the plane?" Levi asked, I nodded my head. They lead me to a McDonald's, Levi got a Big Mac and a coke, Lilli got a bacon and egg McMuffin while I got a chicken wrap.
Once we ate, I followed Levi and Lilli to the boarding part. We went through security, but I had to stop because of my bracelet, five minutes later after they checked me for anything bad, we made our way towards where we would get on the plane. "Okay... So Cooper, you want the window seat?"
"Uh yeah, sure." I said, we got onto the plane and found our seats. We waited for everyone to get on before they did a safety thing, I just ignored it as I placed my earphones in, turning on my music at full volume.
I don't show feelings
I don't share them well
But I own scars that show and they've got a story to tell
I bite my lip and walk away
And I know what I should say
There's so much on my mind
But you don't want to hear itIf you could see me on the other side
You might find me fighting for my life
But I'm still aliveThis little high we're on
It ain't for the weakened heart
We've got a role to play
And I'm gonna play my part
I felt the soul, it burns
I've held it in my hands
And I feel it all the way
'Cause I never could kill itIf you could see me on the other side
You might find me fighting for my life
But I'm still alive uh uh oh oh uh uh
If you could see me on the other side
You might find me fighting for my life
But I'm still aliveI let the music drown me, my eyes slipping closed as I started to fall asleep. And I didn't mind, I felt calm, relaxed, something that rarely happened.
But I was leaving home, I was going somewhere new. I was going somewhere where I could become the person I wanted to be...
Florida here I come...
